This MCAT Prep Erasable Notepad (“noteboard booklet”) by MCAT-prep.com provides a simulation of the real exam notepad; it is NOT a replica. Currently, the real MCAT is a computer-based exam which does not provide scratch paper. Instead, for your calculations and notetaking, you are provided with a fine point marker and a laminated notepad booklet with spiral binding. To extend the life of your marker, make sure to place the cover when not in use. This will avoid the marker drying out. The current booklet is 8.5” x 14” and double-sided composed of a cover page and 9 pages with graph paper. This MCAT Prep Notepad/Whiteboard product follows the preceding guidelines and the 1 marker included with this product is the current brand being used for the real exam: Staedtler Lumocolor non-permanent marker with fine point, black, made in Germany. The latter is also referred to as a “wet-erase pen”. This product does not contain any practice questions. You should use this product in conjunction with full-length MCAT practice tests (available separately from many sources) under timed conditions to better simulate your upcoming real test day.
