I love this sturdy stuff, this matte kraft paper stock. It's slightly ribbed, like the brown packing paper you can get at the Post Office, but it's totally black! Not dark black, but a nice soft black. I used it to wrap a gift for my brother's birthday and the end result was smart and grown-up looking! It's simple, nothing super-fancy, but I can imagine using it again for several occasions. It's a relief because I often get caught needing to wrap a gift and then realizing I only have wrapping paper with Christmas trees on it left over from the holidays. It's nice to buy wrapping paper that doesn't have holiday specific designs on it, or twee teddy bears or fluffy bunnies or something like that. I plan on keeping a roll of this around for such occasions.
