[Copper Core] Does a good job, very quiet at low speeds
This Akasa fan does a good job of cooling my i5 11400F (power limit unlocked to 125W), its very easy to fit as the pop in plugs are not too large, there is layer of thermal paste already on the cooler. The fan sticker peals off easily if you want a more subtle look. Ran VidCoder/Handbrake to stress the CPU and it stayed at around 88 degrees (only using an exhaust fan) all the time, which for that application is a very acceptable result. During Encoding the CPU package temps will hit 100 degrees a lot of the time, so you will get some thermal throttling. Gaming it ran at around 50-65 degrees. For a higher end CPU thats overclocked this cooler would not be sufficient, but if you have paid out for an expensive K series CPU why would you buy this cooler! Noise wise its very quiet until about 60% speed, then gets noisier the faster it gets, so for normal web browsing its silent. The price has crept up over the years on this cooler, £18 is more than other brands but it does have a copper core and its a solid unit.

Super
Top.
