These are great! I'm so happy I found them at a great price and they arrived fast. Strong magnets with a sticky back that you can replace the pins that destroy your clothes with. I just popped off the pin part with a pliers and then the magnetic badge holder has a little sticky back you just pull off and put on the pin. Done, in seconds you fixed your name tag from destroying your clothes. I love that! It comes with three so you have backups. The magnet is strong and the perfect size for regular name tags.

If you wear a name tag at work and are tired of the hoopla with pinned name tags like poking yourself, putting holes in your uniform or wasting time in YNt mirror trying to level your tag because the way you stuck it on is crooked, this is a no brainer. Cheap, effective and good. Plus it's not just one. Do yourself a favor.

The magnet is strong and secure. I used it to replace a safety pin on my favorite Christmas pin and it works perfectly.

I'm horrible about losing my name tags and the old magnets weren't very strong. These on the other hand are very strong and haven't come loose yet. One even held on through a complete laundry cycle; both washing and drying.

I love the concept of these. I have a name tag that I wear on my scout leader uniform, but it has two pins that are a pain to connect and disconnect when it needs to go through the wash, and I was afraid doing that too much would destroy the fabric of the shirt in that area. I bought these to convert to a magnetic connection which sounds like a great idea. Installation was easy for these tags (though getting the adhesive off from the pins that came with my nametag was a pain). I first tried installing the nametag on my pocket flap. I found that even with the 3 magnets, the shirt material was too thick and the backing wouldn't hold well to the plate on the nametag. The tag would slide down under its own weight and end up crooked or fall off. So I moved the tag up on the shirt, over the pocket flap where the material was thinner. It stays on better there, but I have still had it slip down and end up crooked. Last week, I lost the nametag entirely and didn't even know it until the backing fell out the bottom of my shirt when I took it off. I don't know if a jacket pulled the tag off, or a seatbelt. It obviously didn't give enough of a tug for me to notice when it came off. I'm pretty disappointed. It seems like the magnets should be stronger. I see they make these with 4 magnets as well. I don't know if they would fit my nametag though (it isn't exactly big or heavy). Bottom line: I don't recommend these for anything other than temporary, short-term use as they are not strong enough to be reliable.

Strong enough to place on old-fashioned pinned name tags so to not destroy your rain jackets. Highly reccomend. Hopefully the price can be reduced as you only get three.
