Purdy 10-in-1 Folding Multi-Tool Single Unit

I love this - it’s the handyman’s fidget toy of choice! It’s really handy in myriad situations, great build quality and feels really sturdy, and really satisfying to flick back and forth!

Just a casual painting house interior and this just made opening paint tins effortless, whipping out of pocket to scrape a rough spot, and for really cleaning out paint rollers was absolutely invaluable and saved alot of mess... Glad I purchased it, no bodging little tasks with "other" objects that end up frustratingly lost/ruined/bent.. just a well built tool that lived in my pocket and was the perfect thing to quickly grab.

More 3½ stars but they don't give ½s... Used it a couple of times to open tin of paint - thumbs up. Tried to use as a scraper... needs sharpening - thumb down? Used to clean off paint from a small paint roller, the curved bit, - thumbs up... but no different than using a pallet knife or paint tray edges... So far not tried the bottle opener, nail starter (base)... or belt attachment clip - or just placing it in my pocket. To open it - it comes closed - there's a slot to hold and pull it out. To close you need to press the slightly sprung inner piece - this is the *lock* that doesn't always *lock* the tool blade open... being aware. That's my experience with having it a short time.

A very Useful hand multi too, What makes this product special is the Sharp parts of the multi tool are are folded in the handle when not needed, makes this a Very Safe tool to keep in your pocket. Very high quality item.

Great combination of functions / size / price. Used countless times during each recent painting + decorating session. keeping this handy has saved lots of time looking for various other tools that I would normally have needed for opening scraping cutting filling & banging tins closed . Every so often I run a file over the scraper section to keep it sharp. Is great for accurate cutting & positioning of masking tape for example. Would recommend to anybody about to decorate.

Very sharp & very handy for all sorts of jobs.

Watched a YouTube video that said "You absolutely NEED this painter's tool!" then cane onto Amazon and decided to buy this one. It was an excellent purchase, and I don't even use it much. But everytime I've run into a problem where my other tools can't do the job, this one can. It's sturdy, it folds closed to be compact, the end has a steel cap so you could hit it with a hammer if you really need to wedge it in somewhere, or even use it to tamp down an errant nail. It'll open bottles, scrape between your deck boards, scrape paint of course, remove old adhesive from your walls, and anything else you can think to use a solid, well shaped piece of metal. If I'm doing any kind of work in or outside my home, this is clipped onto my belt. It's such a good tool and I can't recommend it enough, regardless of whether you're a painter or not. If you do home maintenance, you should own this.

Work as a painter and always looked for a foldable multitool like this. Saw this and for the price I thought I give it a go with no really expectations on it to last. And it's been in my work pants and used and abused pretty much every workday for the last 2,5 years. So have bought more so I have spares the day my beloved tool brakes. Only thing I like to do is to sharpen the edge ridiculously sharp. I really recommend this product.
