Other than that I love this product BIG TIME! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2022* I have been repairing, fixing autos all my life as far back as I can remember and this kit (Pertronix 1541) which replaced my points set up on a Prestolite distributor for a 37HP VG4D Wisconsin engine made a world of difference for my needs. After I installed the kit the engine fired right up in under a seconds time! It used to take up to a minute to start it and the points were new as was the rotor and dist. cap. I was shocked at how well this Kit changed everything on my engine I really was. The instructions were worded poorly and did cause me some issue but I got past it by re-reading the instructions a couple times as I didn't want to make any mistakes.. I also installed a new Flame thrower Coil to make the conversion complete and work it's at its best. The motor is in a CASE 1537 Skid Steer machine which I rebuilt from the ground up. I have converted many small engines to this style set up but nothing as awesome as this happened.. Buy the kit and take your time installing it, buy a new coil for years of hopefully trouble free service, IMHO.
