Very clever
I love the element of timing in this game, playing monuments to get their benefits but they decay over time. The game is a race and when played that way it zips along but if people don't push the endgame it can take a while. Very fun combo building makes this really fun.

Interesting and strategic game
This game can be played on a number of levels. Serious gamers will find ways to extend this game to their advantage. But you can just as easily end the game as soon as you have reached your goal. This is a bit more complicate than most family board games but it still is at the lower end of medium weight strategy games. It has great cards and a great game mechanic. This game combines engine building and card collecting with actual educational fun. Play is simple and boils down to 5 steps. You can : Create: Play a card from your hand Learn: Take tech card from the display Archive: Discard cards Excavate: Way to get rid of older cards Search: Draw a new card Give it a few playthroughs before you decide whether or not to add it to your collection. It definitely gets better the more you understand what you need to do. I only play solo, so it took me about three games before I looked forward to playing it again. I found myself thinking about strategies throughout the day. Have fun!

An interesting game
So far I've only played solo to learn the mechanics. It provides some interesting and unique mechanics I'm looking forward to playing with some opponents.

Excellent game
This is such a great game. I love that every run plays different with so many cards. And it plays well for two lplayers.

Easy, but super fun.
One of my favorite board games to date. And I’ve played a LOT of them.

Not for me
I played it once and was not a fan. It’s easy to run out of cards but you need cards as a type of currency to place monument cards. It seemed very luck driven. Overall I could tell it wasn’t for me. Others may love it.
