I was worried about it being too heavy, but its weight seems absolutely fine to me. It is a bit stiffer than an ordinary strap, but I soon got used to it. The stiffness isn't a problem when using it, but it makes it a bit awkward when packing the camera in a bag - it's easy enough to coil up though.What I particularly like about it are the thin neoprene sleeves which cover the metal clips, thus rendering them less prone to tampering but also prevent the metal parts from damaging the camera. The underside of the padded section is covered with a high-friction 'rubber' material that really is superbly non-slip.I especially like the way the strap slides freely through the padded section, so that when the camera is slung around my neck camera movements don't result in any tugging the back of my neck. This makes wearing the strap around my neck, or over my shoulder, very comfortable. The camera feels nice and secure when the strap is slung over my shoulder.This product is both very functional and of high quality - excellent value for money. I can recommend it most highly. I like the fact that the strap is inconspicuous (no branding advertising my camera make/model) and the sense of security the cables reinforcing the strap. The neck pad is very comfortable, much more than the original Nikon strap, and also makes the camera feel much lighter around my neck. The neck pad also stays in place, whilst allowing the strap to travel freely through it. The strap is slightly stiff due, but does not affect taking pictures in either portrait or landscape orientation. Overall, the CarrySafe 100 is excellent value for money, I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to a friend.It would have deserved 5 stars if it could improve on the following:The main strap attaches to the camera via a secure clasp (which locks into place) to a smaller nylon strap (which attaches to the camera). This smaller nylon strap has an integrated plastic ring/attachment at the end with a small keyring attached, and the clasp of the main strap attaches to this small keyring. The plastic ring appears to be good quality, but I am uncomfortable attaching my camera and lens to this potential kink in the armor. A workaround is to bypass the plastic ring and attach the small keyring directly to the nylon strap.Better yet, the strap is long enough to be used as a shoulder sling strap, and would have been perfect as such if it was designed to attach via the standard tripod screw at the bottom of the camera, especially when carrying around a heavy pro camera with prime lens. Nonetheless, the strap is versatile enough for me to come up with a suitable solution, and at only a 1/4 of the the price of a Joby Pro or Black Rapid, the Pacsafe CarrySafe 100 is a no-brainer for anyone looking for secure, comfortable and non-slip neck strap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great camera strap *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 August 2012* I bought this camera strap with a view to it being more secure than the original that came with our Canon EOS 600D. It certainly seems to be well constructed and I feel much safer with it on the camera although it hasn't been put to the ultimate test and I hope it won't be! A big bonus, for me, is that its much more comfortable than the original strap. I have long hair and found that the original would catch on my hair because of the rubber which was meant to stop it slipping. This strap doesn't slip around, but it uses a different construction which means its not always catching on my hair. The strap is also slightly narrower which I again find more comfortable.
