I wasn’t sure if this was the answer to the problem but job done first time. Problem … tennis net off its posts with the top wire having pulled back some 3 m inside the net. Pulled the wire all the way out - a bit of a fiddle getting it out past the folds in the last few inches … Fed the green fish tape into the top slot with surprising ease although that end fold needed a bit of working back and forth … Jerry-rigged a coupling between the fish tape and the net line, pulled it all back through. Again, the only fiddle was the first and last few inches of the net. If I had a tent peg or something similar it might have helped. Until two days ago I hadn’t heard of fish tape. Now I’m a seasoned pro 😌. Only odd thing is the black handle isn’t really a handle, the whole orange spool moves relative to it. Doesn’t matter but it isn’t quite how you think it would work.

The overall quality of this fish tape is really good. I used it to pull an electrical line through underground ducting into my new shed and it handled the job very well. The tape itself is strong, flexible enough to get around bends and feels like it will last a long time. The only downside is that the small hook at the end did rip off while working through some very tight elbows, which was not ideal. That said, the bends in my ducting were pretty sharp, so it was a tough test. Even with that issue it still managed to get the job done and saved me a lot of hassle. For the price, the value for money is solid and the build quality is better than I expected. A good tool to have if you are running cables through walls or ducting.

Does the job fantastically! Even managed to pull round a 2.5mm ring round 3 20mm short 90°’s.

Do not waste money or your effort on this. It hasn't got the strength to push a penny into a slot machine never mind 30m. Flimsy & useless. I tried to push this fish tape through an empty 4" underground conduit ( 20 ft long). Couldn't even manage 10ft without twisting and bending back on itself and snagging. I've had stiffer elastic bands. Don't review everything i buy, but this product left me furious with the time wasted. Resorted to searching and using 30 Ft length of 25mm mdpe blue water pipe to tape pull rope onto eventually. Pure garbage 😡😡😡

I purchased this for a one of job. I was having full fibre installed but did not want cables clipped around my house. I purchased flexible cable duct to run from the gable to a central room. I found the draw cable really became difficult to push through from one end of the duct to the other, never really managed it. I'm sure the the product is of excellent quality.

Pretty much useless, unable to push through as too flexible. Could be repurposed as a strong clothesline !

Fish tape is losgelaten tijdens kabels trekken en zit nu vast in de leiding. Hierdoor kan ik geen nieuwe kabels meer trekken door deze leiding
