Perfect replacement for FireX FADC 230
Moved house. Had 2 old expired FireX FADC 230’s. Perfect replacement. Simply disconnected plugs and plugged in new devices, even fitted the original base plate. Saved me the cost of getting an electrician out. Great value arrived fast, very happy.

KF10 replacement
Direct replacement for the older Kidde unit KF10... Fits perfect onto old frame and mains connector block. Very pleased with the item.

Fire alarm
Brought this wired smoke alarm as previous one had pretty much reached its life span. Wires already there so just a case of plugging it in and placing in the bracket. All working fine so far. Has a 10yr life span so hopefully will last that long. Arrives with duracel back up battery. Very loud when it goes off. There are cheaper but you can't put a price on your life. Got this one in particular as it was what I already have and have the same upstairs and as I had them fitted during renovations and rewire so as they "speak" to each other seemed best to get the same one.

ideal replacement
Direct plug in replacement for the obsolete mains / battery back-up Firex FADC230. No need for any adaptor or rewiring. Haven't smoke tested it yet, but the test button proves it has a loud, piercing alarm. A good quality product. Same size as the defunct unit, battery life yet to be tested. Battery is now located on the underside which might make replacement easier than the fiddly door on the FADC230.

Bought as a replacement to an expired alarm, thrilled to find the company has maintained the same fixings over time so it's a really easy swap in/swap out. If fitting for the first time then the only extra task is fitting a plate to ceiling, which looks to be a simple case of drilling a couple of fixings in the ceiling and screwing on. The alarm works as described, hasn't given me any trouble and has a long expiry date - would buy again.
