We needed a solution for not having to go back upstairs to shut the fan off after showering. I really like how this looks. A sleek design. The buttons are big enough. It was easy to install, took very little time. We’ve been using it for going on a year and a half now and have had no problems with it, seems very durable. The price was good too.

I got 3 of these for our home recently (1 half bath, and 2 full baths) and we love them. Prior to this, our home was wired to where the light and the fan would turn on from 1 switch. I didn't like this setup as often times, we didn't need the fan (brushing our teeth, washing our hands, etc), and since our home is older, the fans are quite loud. We still wanted the fans for bathroom usage and showering, but figured there had to be a better way. Well, climbing in the attic and running a separate wire for the fan vs the lights was the first step. I used half switches and this got us by for a year or so (didn't want to add a larger electrical box). However, after showering, we'd turn off the fan as we didn't want to leave it running for hours after. After debate, we opted to get these timer switches for our fans and couldn't be happier. I did have to remove our old electrical boxes, put in replacement larger "old work" boxes, and wire in everything. If you know your way around electrical stuff, this isn't terrible, though time consuming. If you already have a separate full switch for the bathroom fan, this is a plug and play type of device. This switch does require a neutral wire (I believe all electrical boxes in my area for new development require neutral to exist, so this shouldn't matter much), but if you have an older home without neutral in a particular box, you can run it to ground per the instructions. 5/5 for function and aesthetics. The face plate was tricky to find (toggle, decora, decora), but Amazon had it available when the local stores did not. Overall, highly recommend.

This was super easy to install. Works great and the timers are accurate. Used it for a bathroom fan. Perfect.

Have changed 3 out of 4 bathroom fan switches. Fourth one is here, just waiting for some spare time. I had to replace one, old Broan fan motor because others would turn it on, then walk away. I'm not sure what Broan's reasoning is, but the paper installation guide mentioned that vent fan motors should never run longer than 60 minutes at a time. This particular timer only offers 30M, 15M, 10M, 5M, and OFF. Broan's 60 minute limit issue solved and fan shuts off, resuming peace and quiet in the house.

Works as expected. Had electrician install so I can't speak to that, but these are just what I needed so my teens don't leave the shower fans running for hours.

Tired of going into a bathroom a day or two later and the fan is still on? This was a great upgrade and I've now replaced every fan switch in four houses. It's pretty basic wiring and if you do any electrical stuff at all it's a breeze to install.

Great solution to be able to leave the exhaust fan on and not having to remember to turn it off before going downstairs. It was a bit of a pain to install, but that was more an issue of me figuring out the wiring in the box. Once I figured it out, it works like a charm. I like that the indicator light moves down the time scale to approximate how much time is left. As another reviewer mentioned the buttons are kinda flimsy and get a bit cockeyed if you don’t press them in the center, but it’s a minor OCD gripe lol. Overall I am very happy with this solution and hope it lasts.

Easy to install and use

I am so happy with the installation of these timers. They look great, they work exactly as they should, and I found them fairly easy to install - they took me about 15 minutes each. Leviton is a trusted brand so I appreciate the quality of the build. The green indicator LED is nice and the buttons don't feel cheap. My household tends to leave the fan on in the bathroom for long periods of time. This obviously wastes electricity but it also directs heated or cooled air out of the house needlessly. We purchased two different timers - one with shorter durations for our two-piece bathroom, and one with longer durations for our bathroom with the shower - and they are both working as expected to help prevent fans from running all day. Installation was very easy and the instructions were nice and clear. They give different wiring options for different wiring scenarios which is very helpful but if you're uncomfortable doing this yourself, an electrician should be able to wire these pretty quickly. They can be wired with or without a neutral wire which is also nice option for some homes.

Quick easy installation and works great for our bathroom fan. Nice to be able to leave it running after a shower knowing it will shut off automatically. I have it beside a traditional size dimmer switch in the photo but will swap that for matching decora style dimmer

I purchased this for the bathroom when we take showers. Set it and forget it. According to what I’ve seen online, you should have the fan running during your shower and 15 minutes after the shower to ensure all the humidity is out of the bathroom to prevent mold. This is great, so I don’t have to worry about coming back to the bathroom to turn off the fan.
