Keeps my feeder running non stop
I picked up this 6V Solar Panel for my deer feeder, and it has been an absolute game changer. No more swapping out batteries every few weeksโthis panel keeps everything charged and running perfectly. Works good, but needs better wires!
This solar works good. I would be aware the cord is not very heavy duty and hangs down. The deer ripped it out and the ends of the wires are clips not spade connectors. I noticed the cords on other feeders offered a more animal proof cord. I had to add a small piece of conduit and clamps to keep the animals from pulling the wires out. Plus I removed the clips and installed spade connectors.

works great to keep the feeder batteries charged. However, the cord is very short and really limits mounting options.

thins PRODUCT WORKS
Have owned this product for years. They have lasted for years, and if not for racoons climbing up and tearing them down i believe they would last longer. i RECIEVED THE NEW ONES VERY QUICKLY!

Good Charger, Poor Wire Connection
I like how seamlessly thia charger connected to my Moultrie feeder. It was working great for about a month. Today the wire was sheared right at the plug. At first I though a critter chewed through it, but there was no evidence of that. It appears that the wire connection broke due to the movement of the wire in the wind. If I replace it, I will reinforce the end of the wire with shrink seal and electrical tape.
