My Apologies for What You're About to Read.
I need to apologize first--I thought I had already written a review for this life-changing book. I searched for the review and didn't find it. This review is long, long overdue.I read a LOT of books. Usually one or two a week on average, if you include Audible subscriptions. The problems that I have with most of them--regardless of whether or not they have great information--is the fact that few actually attempt to get into your daily SCHEDULE, and become a part of your life. If I read a book for self-improvement, and it makes a lot of sense, it should have a path to IMPLEMENT them into your daily life.A book should be read for one of two reasons: you enjoy it, or it's useful for you. A good fiction novel would be enjoyable, and a book on Evernote would be useful. This book was both. I loved it. I was entertained, I was absorbed in Hal's story, and I truly ENJOYED it.But the REAL benefit was how it was so useful. My days have changed as a result of these ideas. I am a self-waker before I HAVE to get up, and I practice my form of the SAVERS nearly every day now. The framework for remembering each stage is very important. It's an easy acronym, very informative, and I just appreciate the thought that went into the process.I read this book about 3 years ago now, and have had the most personal growth in my life during that time due to a lot of what I get out of the Miracle Morning. The book is the definitive study on how to change your daily schedule for YOU.I've purchased many, many copies to give to friends and family. I recommend it to many people, and whole-heartedly recommend this book to others.Thank you, Hal for putting this into the world.

Same but different
When I found out Hal was writing this book I thought: "I don't need this, I already get up early and do all this stuff." Most of my adult life I have woken up early and done most of what Hal recommends but it has never been this productive or fun! The largest measure of success for me is that my wife has been waking up with me--Hal's simple system has done in less than a week what I could not do in almost 10 years of marriage =)If you have read lots of other "self help" authors it will be easy to see where Hal's influence comes from but what I really like about this book is that it is more actionable than many others out there. Some books have great ideas but they leave it up to do to take the steps necessary--or maybe they give 2 to 3 suggestions at the end of the chapter. Other books give you a system that is so set that it destroys creativity and flow. Hal breaks it down into each part and then shows how the parts work together. They say that if you get a good workout then you burn calories all day long. Since I have been doing Hal's system my mind is more creative and my vision more clear all day long than it ever has been before. For my wife and I this works. . . better than any other system that I have ever done and it is the first system I have been able to get my wife to do--and to do consistently!I have read many books and served with great leaders (one example is Arlen B Crouch who is former CEO of Franklin Covey who I worked with for about 6 months in a service organization and on leadership teams with him) but for me the "Miracle Morning" gives me direction and vision but without constricting my "free flow" and creativity. An aged lady once gave her husband a great compliment about how her husband treated her and their children: "He gave us roots and wings." Hal's system gives you roots to dig in and wings to fly--it is a full system that is strong and complete but it can be customized for each day and each person.I am grateful that my wife and I can get up and start our day off better than we ever have before. Thanks Hal!

part "how-to" guide, part motivational manifesto
Hal Elrod’s The Miracle Morning is a transformative read that combines motivation and actionable strategies to help readers create a morning routine that drives personal growth and success. The book’s core framework, S.A.V.E.R.S, is simple yet powerful:Silence (e.g., meditation or prayer to start the day grounded)Affirmations (positive self-talk to reinforce goals and values)Visualization (mentally rehearsing your goals to fuel focus)Exercise (even just 10 minutes to energize the body and mind)Reading (personal development or learning content)Scribing (journaling thoughts, gratitude, or reflections).Elrod further enhances the process by introducing A.B.C, which emphasizes:Adjusting the routine to fit your time and lifestyle.Building consistency by starting small and expanding gradually.Creating accountability through tracking progress or involving others.Recognizing that restful sleep is the foundation of a great morning, Elrod also shares the S.L.U.M.B.E.R.S. framework, which provides tips for improving your nighttime routine:Set a bedtime routine to signal your brain it’s time to wind down.Limit screen time before bed to reduce blue light exposure.Understand your sleep cycles and aim for 90-minute increments.Minimize caffeine and heavy meals late in the day.Build a relaxing environment (dim lights, comfortable bedding, etc.).Establish a wake-up intention by focusing on the purpose of the next day.Reflect on gratitude or journal before sleep to calm the mind.Sleep with consistency by waking and sleeping at the same time daily. These additional tools—S.L.U.M.B.E.R.S. and A.B.C.—make The Miracle Morning a holistic approach to transforming not just your mornings but your overall well-being.What makes the book so impactful is its universal appeal. Elrod’s methods are applicable to people of any age, background, or socioeconomic situation. His personal story of overcoming a near-fatal accident and financial ruin adds a layer of inspiration and credibility. He reminds readers that no matter where they are starting, it’s possible to create a life of purpose and success through intentional mornings. The book includes practical examples of how the frameworks have worked for people from diverse walks of life and offers free tools and templates—like journaling guides and goal-setting worksheets—to make implementation straightforward. In essence, The Miracle Morning is part "how-to" guide, part motivational manifesto. It’s a must-read for anyone seeking to make a positive shift in their life. By embracing this routine, you set the tone for productivity, mindfulness, and purpose every single day—starting the night before!

This book is life changing!
This is the first book I have finished, probably in my adult life and definitely in the last 10yrs. Normally I skip through the books finding bits and pieces that catch my interest before losing interest. Now each morning I wake up and I'm excited to sit down and read The Miracle Morning and practice the Life S.A.V.E.R.S.Why is The Miracle Morning different? It has inspired me to be the successful entrepreneur I had always envisioned I would be "someday." Not there yet, but I expect to be in 90 days. All along deep inside I knew I would most likely fail at this too, since that's how I viewed everything I had attempted to do in my life. I was afraid of failure, so if I didn't try I couldn't fail. Right?Hal shared all his real life traumatic and life altering experiences, failures and devastating financial set backs. Which I could relate to on a personal level. If Hal could go thru all that which is similar to my life experiences and he come out the other side more successful and found an even greater amount of financial freedom, then I could to. "If" I implemented all of the steps that enabled Hal to not only reach his goals but exceed his own expectations of those goals. Just like the restaurant scene from "When Harry met Sally", I looked at Hal's life and said to myself, "I want what Hal is having."The book made me go deep within myself and ask myself why did I fail? Basically it is what I would tell myself right before I would embark on a new job, a promise to a friend or family member that I would do something or be somewhere, my core being would say, "you know you won't follow through." My stomach would clench and I would fell sick inside. This would be followed by extreme guilt because I didn't follow through on anything. Then my inner voice would say, "see I told you, you wouldn't do it!" "You are such a failure. You can't stick to your word or promises."This book has changed that mind set. Now I don't tell myself "I will", instead I tell myself, "I am". When I journal I write, I am successful, I visualise myself being successful, what that feels like and last but not least how I am going to execute it. I visualise each and every step of the way. How those steps are going to make me feel. No more commitment issues. Those are not allowed! No excuses either . Those are replaced with accountability. No more self hate. Hate has been replace with self love, confidence, peace, joy and freedom. Like I said at the beginning, The Miracle Morning is a life changer!I am going back to what my mother instilled in me from childhood and throughout my adult life which I had lost some where along the way. Mom: "Amy, you can do and be anything you want to do or be in the whole wide world. You are beautiful, intelligent, funny, strong, people like being around you and people love you. All you have to do is put your mind to it. Remember it's mind over matter! If you believe you can then you can, BUT if you don't believe you can then you won't. It's all yours for the taking...all you have to do is go out and get it." What she left out was the "how to's" how to set a goal and most importantly what actions need to be taken to reach and exceed my own expectations. Hal not only gives you the confidence that you can but he also gives you a plan of action. An action plan which will help you to execute those actions to reach your own level of success you've ever imagined but never knew quite how to get there. These steps can apply to any and every aspect of your life.So what are you waiting for?Thank you Hal for your transparency and sharing your life experiences from the good, bad, happy, sad, triumphs and tribulations with the world. Because of you, now I am experiencing things I only dreamed of but never imagined it being my reality. Thank you Hal for the gift that keeps on giving. It's feels like Christmas morning 24/7.With much love and gratitude,Amy

Just what I was looking for
I was sceptical when I read the blurb of this book, but as I got a few pages in, I became more and more hooked, like Hal was writing this specifically for me.Having always been extremely self-motivated and "aware", after getting married and giving birth to my son, everyone (and everything) else seems to come first and my personal and business goals and progress have fallen by the wayside as I lose time everyday and feel guilty for rewarding myself with something as small as a cup of tea when there are other "things" that "need" to be done.At my wits end in the later part of this year, I realised I'd stopped settings goals each year, so I set about re-igniting my annual goal setting process... During this time I realised that with more responsibility at home and with a family (than when I was single) I needed to MAKE some me time, and was planning to do it in the mornings - when it's quietest and I am most energetic. A client actually recommended this book after I told her that getting my morning routine back on track and productive was a big goal for the new year.I am so happy I purchased and read this book. It has given clear ideas, instructions and examples of what to do, how long for, how to set them up, carry them out and most importantly expectations that will help you succeed and improve your life. It's exactly what I needed and now that I have read it cover to cover I am going back to read it all again, highlight, make notes, do the actions and start the challenge.I am a firm believer that 1 hour of action a day over a year can create massive change and I implore anyone trying to work out how to improve any part of themselves or their life to take the steps and lessons in this book and put them to use by taking action and doing as Hal says.Good luck... Or should I say good morning! Get out there and improve your life. You are the only one who can do it. :)

Tbe Olive Garden of self-improvement books.
When I go to a new town, I ask the locals what's the best restaurant in town, and if they say The Olive Garden, I pretty much know what kind of place I'm in. Don't get me wrong, Olive Garden is awesome if you're on a budget or if you've never had a fantastic Italian meal - it will provide sustenance, value, and even enough for a doggie bag. But, if you're used to dining on more rich and fresh fare, you'll leave a bit unsatisfied. That's how I felt about this book. I bought it because I heard him on Pat Flynn's Smart Passive Income Podcast and thought, wow, this guy has great thoughts. I wonder what else is in that book? Turns out the podcast is basically a summation of the book and there's nothing much else in there. Dang. Thanks for shilling it for free, Hal, but it was disappointing that there wasn't more there. There are great books (he gives some examples in his, like _Think and Grow Rich_ ) that you should really check out that truly deserve five stars, but if you're just getting started, I think this book could be a game changer for someone needing life inspiration. While I don't regret giving him my money because he deserves it for putting his message out there for people to find it, it wasn't $10 of value for me - I am happy to have bought it and supported him coming on Pat Flynn's show. But there it is. None of the bonuses included were anything I felt I needed to look into, and maaaaaan . . . I won't even have leftovers for breakfast. His ideas are simple and could be summarized in a one-page document, and none are anything I haven't heard before (and implemented). I wish I'd been able to peruse a hardcopy, but I bought it for Kindle. It's definitely a skim through (I was done in an hour because it's filled largely with cheerleading and testimonials) that I'll never read again. But, again, if this is new to you - both how to get motivated to empower yourself and invest in your self-worth and motivations, then this book is great. It's going to give you everything you need to get started and take action. It's just not 5-stars great.

The Best Self Help Book Which will Transform You - Guaranteed!
There are many self-help books available which you'd gone through, and once the excitement is over, chances are, it will keep company for the dust in your bookshelf. Here is a simple book, that will guaranteed to transform your life and you'll be sharing it with your friends. The Miracle Morning is simple, but the potential is so great, which makes you think why you didn't read this book a few years before! The most important thing about this book is that it's very simple and guaranteed to transform your life.Don't underestimate this small book, this is not only about getting up in the morning, but effectively transforming your life into a greater self even you couldn't believe you are capable of.Each chapters are important, you might consider some chapters are important and others are not, some of the reviews already said that certain chapters as various views, author testimonials etc., which contributes nothing. Well, you should read everything, even if you dismiss some part of the book or thumb through certain chapters, you are missing important keystones. For example, on Page 26, Hal says, "One of the most prevalent, yet not-so-obvious causes of mediocrity is isolating incidents,. We do this when we mistakenly assume that each choice we make, and each individual action we take, is only affecting that particular moment, or circumstance. For example, you may think it's no big deal to miss a workout, procrastinate on a project, or eat fast food because you'll get a "do-over" tomorrow. You make the mistake of thinking that skipping that workout only affects that incident, and you'll make a better choice next time. Nothing could be farther from the truth." And he continues to explain how it will affect us and our subconscious mind. So, there are many advices in this book you will find very useful, not because it's new, but because you've never considered it.The book after the introduction has divided into ten chapters. The first and second chapters are Hal's story mixed with parallels to your life and how you can positively change your life into a success. During these chapters he talks about financial difficulties and how damaging is the debt, finding time, overcoming the challenges, things to do every morning, the steps to become a morning person. These chapters are kind of story telling Hal's personal testimonies and the people inspired by his work and testimonies.Chapter 3 is a comprehensive chapter on acknowledging and rising above the limitations we have set ourselves which are thwarting our success in life. It identifies the causes of mediocrity, subconscious mind's lethal strategies of self-failing mechanisms, small isolating incidents we ignore but have great impact, and more importantly how to survive these limitations.Chapter 4 and 5 stresses on how to be a morning person, these chapters deal in making you a morning person in a very practical way. Even if you're dreading to get up early and a snooze-person like me, it will guaranteed to change you into an early morning person (actually I am writing this review at 4:30 a.m. and I did wake up four a.m.)Chapter 6 is the introduction of Life S.A.V.E.R.S (Silence, Affirmations, Visualisation, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing) the practices to save you from a life of unfulfilled potential. This may sound silly, for example, how silence and reading and things like that are going to make much difference. Once you go through Hal's insights and advices, you'll be amazed by the impact of his advices and wonder why you haven't thought any of this before. Each of the S.A.V.E.R.S has their own sections to explain its importance and example. This one is quite a large chapter.Chapter 7 is the pointer, the real results in six minutes, which is a short two and half pages chapter of a key procedure that will dictate your positive energy in your everyday life. This is one of the major keys to create success and happiness in your life.Chapter 8 is customizing your Miracle Morning, which explains how you can customize your daily life, your food habits, goals and dreams, overcoming the procrastination, and even weekends.Chapter 9 is forming habits that will transform your life (in 30 days). It will guide you through various parts of your comfort zone and give advice on how to break the circle of habitual failures like New Year resolutions, negative habits, addiction to the habits, fear for changes etc. In effect, this chapter is all about habit mastery and you'll have your chance to transform your life into a better one through its Day 1 to Day 30 instruction in three short parts.Chapter 10 is the challenge to transform your life in 30 days. You can do this! With testimonials, fast start kit and revision, this chapter is the last chapter of the book, but that's not the end it follows more sections. Conclusion is a short section that is a guidance. Where you are is the result of who you were and the title of this section is "Let today be the day you give up who you've been for who you can become." It has contact information of Hal Elrod followed by a special invitation from the Miracle Morning Community. An Essential Bonus is another section with the title "the Email that will change your life" it's an email strategy for identifying your weaknesses and strengths. This section is followed by a two page thought provoking quotes.Buy this book, it's worth buying, and keep the book with you, you will need to re-read it, mark it, reference it and unlike many self-help books this one will really transform you. Don't procrastinate, take time to read it and find the answers. I am pretty sure, once you go through this book, you'll probably moan, if you'd the chance to get this book five years before.

Great empowering book
There’s only six things you need to learn from this book and need to implement in your life to change your life. Very simple method. But Hal explain in detail how you will feel and how to tackle many challenges during the first 30 days, and his words really empowered me, make me believe that I can do it. I tends to give up in few days what I’ve started newly like exercising, If I don’t read this book and just learned only the methods, I am sure I gave up in first week, but from this book, I learned that to implement new habits like exercising every day, just learning how to do the exercise is not enough. You need also know how mentally you need to be prepared, and how you will feel during the implementation process and how to overcome it. This book will provides you all of that. Not just a how-to book, it’s more like a personal coaching book.
