Beautiful wood. Took the stain great as well. It is now a beautiful oak color. Worked great for the island table I made.

High Quality and Strudy Slab
I was very impressed with the quality of this wood. It is a heavy and dense piece of wood. The slab is well packaged. I finished mine with two coats Danish Oil.

Heavy but affordable
Best deal for butcher block. Used one for a bar top and the other for countertop. Both took stain without blotching. These are heavy so beware of who delivers them. FedEx gonna fedex your packages so expect dents, dings and ripped cardboard. There are many layers of protection from the factory and while this seems like overkill mine somehow ended up dinged. Overall I am satisfied with the appearance, fit and ease of installation.

Great look easy to modify for bar tops and kitchen containers. This is the second one I have bought. Works great very durable, easy to stain and seal with a food safe beeswax

Great countertop
New cabinets needed new countertops. This butcher block was the best choice. (sink was not yet installed when this picture was taken)

Gorgeous and heavy - looks perfect with a quick coating of mineral oil.
Wrapped in plastic and perfectly prepared to do a final finish. Super dense and heavy. Which is a good thing but you need to make sure the legs or brackets or whatever you're using to support this can handle the weight. Pretty amazing for the price. If you want to finish it quick and easy you can see the pictures of the people that did a quick mineral oil job. Brings out the grains and beauty fantastically well. Wow.

Well worth the money.
Very sturdy , we are using it for our island in our kitchen. Once we got it sealed with a finish it looks great. It's very heavy .

Holly Cow! This thing is great! Price is great. Wood is great. Can't say enough good things. I made a workshop table with it. It's hard as a rock, and takes a real beating. You could totally use this for butcher counters, or just cool counters, and workbenches. No one who's seen this can believe how good the price is.
