I was looking for some blocks which were compact for a lunch box and mini lunch bag and these are ideal. There are thin and small and fit in perfectly. The keep cool for most of the day too.

Just to prove not all ice blocks are made equal, was really impressed with these little guys. In the past have purchase a cheap version and yes they do the job but leaves your bag wet and on a hot day only stays frozen until late morning if lucky. Now these little guys pack a big punch, at first glance I thought hmm not sure but WOW popped in the freezer overnight and into the cooler bag the next morning for a day trip out, boy was a hot day, still when it was time for lunch everything was perfectly chilled and not wet through. Afterwards popped a couple drinks back into the bag with the ice packs ready for a cold drink before the journey home and yes still lovely and cold. When the bag was unpacked the ice packs were still cold, most impressed with these maybe a bit dearer than some others but definitely worth it.

I bought these to keep my son's school packed lunches fresh during the hotter weather, and the fact that they don't contain any toxic substances was a big selling point. Although the packs were a little bigger than I was expecting, because they are flat and not too deep, I was able to put two of them in the lunch bag each day along with the food boxes. They have done their job brilliantly well - in fact, on some days they still felt cold to the touch when my son came home from school - were so easy to use and re-use, and my son thought they were great too. Although I only really needed two of them, I can see that they are made to last and the others will come in really handy for family picnics. Great product.

Me decanté por estos bloques porque ya he probado otros productos de Magic Gel y me gusta la calidad que ofrece a un precio más que razonable. Valoro mucho que el material sea libre de BPA, sobre todo si lo voy a usar para mantener fruta o comida en general en una nevera. Vienen 5 bloques relativamente pequeños, lo que hace que sea fácil y cómodo ponerlos entre lo que quieras mantener frío, sin ocupar excesivo espacio. Al ser las placas de un tamaño moderado, se congelan en nada y no necesitas esperar las dos horas de rigor que otras placas de hielo necesitan. Éstas con una media hora de congelador es suficiente. El producto es tal y como aparece en la foto, cada bloque es de un color. El plástico es translúcido y se ve el gel de colores del interior (amarillo, naranja, rosa, azul y verde). El diseño aparte de bonito y original, es práctico porque tiene un agujero en el centro que facilita su manipulación. Me apetecía mucho tener algo para mantener la comida fría, ya que es algo que necesito a diario para el trabajo; que no tuviera BPA; que fuera resistente y, al mismo tiempo, que me agradara su diseño. Este producto lo ha conseguido, así que recomendado.
