Allerease Platinum Pillow Protector, King

Nice and thick!

I purchased a new down pillow and needed something to protect it. I’ve come to trust the Allerease brand. I have two homes, and between them about 40 pillows, perhaps more. Each pillow has an Allerease cover for several reasons: we have guests who do have allergies, and as the name suggests, these pillow protectors reduce allergy symptoms. They also protect the pillow from sweat, dust mites, skin cells we all shed while sleeping, etc. I find the Allerease Platinum to be the best among the various types of pillow covers Allerease sells. They are soft, water resistant, quiet, they are odorless, and they wash nicely. They are also durable. We have many overnight guests, with frequent turnover of bedding, so durability is important. Among those many pillows, we have a variety of pillow types and sizes: standard, queen and king, down, down alternative and memory foam. Allerease Platinum fit each pillow well. I can highly recommend Allerease Platinum for their fit and function.

Nice, made very well. I’m kind of a snob when it comes to bedding. It has a nice feel and I think it will last me for a really long time. It looks kind of luxurious and feels so soft. It isn’t crinkly and doesn’t make noise when you move. I haven’t washed it yet but if I have any problem I’ll come back and update my review. I feel like it’s a good buy. You can’t beat knowing that it holds dust, dander, bed bugs, dust mites… out of my pillow. I have an expensive pillow so I want to protect it. I can’t stand a stained pillow or a dirty looking one. I think I’ll get a four pack and replace covers for all the pillows.

Too big for my pillows. I have other pillowcases from this brand, this is the only one that's too big. I change my pillow cases nightly, so I have a few different types from this brand & this is the first time I've bought the platinum version. I believe this is one of the more expensive varieties, but I think I'm going to stick with the cheaper ones. The "plush" texture on this pillow isn't that impressive to me, maybe I just don't care like others may. If it just fit my pillow well like the other ones, it would be 5 stars cause the brand and quality are very nice.
