Grandson made this Lego and so enjoyed putting together.. purchased the lights and he is very happy highlighting his build.

I haven’t actually finished with this product because I had to get it refunded from Amazon. I reached a point where one of the LED strips wasn’t soldered correctly and one of the wires was free. I tried to get just that part replaced, but that wasn’t possible. If you have a soldering iron, this might not bother you, but I don’t want to get one for this single repair. I was able to fix a couple other issues, regarding the blocks that have notches cut out so the wire can go in. That notch wasn’t cut far enough so I had to file it a bit to make it work. The other issue with this product are the instructions. The video they linked to worked fine, but it became challenging to see where the wire was hidden and all that. The zooming the camera in for the detail work and out for the removal of blocks would help a lot. Beyond that, it’s an ok product. Like I said, I am going to have to continue with the install and hope the rest goes well. Update 7/18/22 The company reached out to fix the issue and is sending me a replacement. They also pointed out that the PDF instructions might be a better thing to use for this, instead of the video. I took a look and it is so much clearer. At the conclusion of this install, I’ll write a new review based on what has happened.
