According to the specs, the dimensions are 22 x 17 x 9.5 cm. Sounds like a very big mouse, but one of the reviews here says it's too small!?

These dimensions are clearly wrong! 22 x 17 x 9.5 cm is 8½ x 6¾ x 3¾ inches - more like a rat than a mouse. According to Logitech's web site this mouse is 9.95 x 5.98 x 3.86 cm, smaller than many mice as suggested elsewhere.

I received this as a gift but there is no receiver in the pack. The description says it’s included. Am I missing something?!

Can't help I'm afraid. I bought the red one. Actually, I bought three. 1 for my lap-top, one for my PC Tower, and 1 for my daughters laptop. They're brilliant. The batteries last for absolutely ages..

Do I have to switch the mouse off when the computer is off to prolong battery life, or can I leave it on?

I have no idea, but I never turn mine off as the on-off switch is quite fiddly. I find battery life is app 2 months with this regime.
