Confused as to why some customers complain visible screws ruin the look... while others show photos, screws unseen.** A: Yes, they do show. They are right in the middle of each shelf and are shiny gold as opposed to the duller painted gold of the shelf itself. I still love it. With your 'pretties' on each shelf who is going to be looking at the screws? **Q: how tall is it between the shelves?** A: Height vary with different level shelves **Q: Are the shelves white pinted wood? c.s.** A: Yes nicely painted white wood. Very clean. Luv my shelves. **Q: How much weight can each shelf hold? Can it hold printers?** A: A average size printer would be secure, shelves and unit is sturdy and made well --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/560075239-8-open-shelf-bookshelf-70-87-h-x-31-5](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/560075239-8-open-shelf-bookshelf-70-87-h-x-31-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
