Colour Elixir Moisturising Lip Liner, 00 Universal, 1.2 g

The Max Factor Colour Elixir Moisturising Lip Liner is excellent and incredibly versatile. I use it not only as a lip liner but also apply it all over my lips as a base, which helps my lipstick last much longer and prevents the liner from bleeding. It gives a smooth, moisturised finish and really helps keep everything in place. While it can be a little difficult to sharpen, with a bit of pressure it sharpens just fine. I can definitely see this becoming a staple in my makeup collection and would happily recommend it to others.

This lil penceil was fabulous right up to the point when sharpening was required. I tried three different pro make-up sharpeners and the black wood is so thick it comes off in clumps rendering the product unusable and just a stump! I resorted to trying a crafting knife to no avail and had to throw it away. I'm a professional make up artist and have never had this problem before with any pencils. Its a real shame as this would be my favourite lil formula pencil but whats the point if you can't use if after its blunt :( I will hope Max Factor address the issue

The lip pencil works well to prevent lipstick bleeding outside of the lips

Very effective in preventing lipstick bleeding into wrinkles. Unfortunately, the pencil always needs sharpening which is very difficult to do. Most ordinary lipliner sharpeners don’t work at all well with this product.

Excellent product. Especially for more mature skin where it stops colour bleed.

Being clear is good because I can use it with all my lipsticks. But when using dark red or black it lets a little of the colour through
