Satisfied with the quality
I was concerned that the seller might try to off load these because it is close to its shelf life, but it eased my concern after tasting it. They are fresh, tasty and comes in a big jar that will last quite a while.

Formosa Pork Sung
We trust Formosa brand. The pork sung goes well as an addition to soups or gruel. Try it!

traditional pork sung
I've tried this pork sung and also the Kimbo brand that Amazon also sells. I like this one a little better, but usually just order which ever one is cheaper. We use this instead of salt to add flavor to cooked dishes.

Stale
I’ve been eating this for years, always purchased at Chinese supermarkets. I saw this on Amazon and thought I’d save myself a trip to the store. That was a huge mistake. What I received tasted weird, nothing like what I’m used to. It almost didn’t taste like an edible product.

Pork Floss: A Revelation
I bought this mostly on a whim. I'd had pork floss in a restaurant dish here and there, but I'd never really thought about it. Then I read a blog post about using it to top oatmeal, for a Chinese-style spin, and I decided to give it a shot. I searched Amazon and found this brand thanks to its positive reviews...and to say that it exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. This is a product that sounds kind of gross on paper (at least, to me). But the reality is that this is light and fluffy, salty and slightly sweet, umami-bomb meat candy. Its flavor is clean, not at all "porky" (if you know what I mean) and just absolutely delicious. I've even been snacking on it here and there straight out of the jar. (Warning: It's very high in sodium, so you might not want to do too much of that.) Back to my original intent, that oatmeal: Steel cut oats cooked to a slightly looser than usual texture. (Or, if you have the patience, actual rice congee.) A runny poached egg. Some soy sauce, some black vinegar, and a somewhat liberal pile of this stuff on top. Best breakfast. Ever. I'm looking forward to using this product in a variety of dishes. So glad I decided to buy this!
