Very narrow, fairly short table. Not standard dining room size. That's not what I bought it for though so I'm good. Arrived with outer shipping package damage but no damage that I could see on the actual pieces. Delivered by Amazon 'big/oversized" delivery team in bigger truck. They were great. No complaints with delivery, which is kind of odd considering how many of us on packages arrive damage these days. I bought this to use as a kitchen island/kid catch all. Without extending it, it's works amazing for my needs! I wanted the stools for a different dining room table so this deal worked out great. The stools are pretty uncomfortable but I'm 5'1" tall so it might just be me. I have to sit closer to the edge and at a slight angle so one foot reaches the ground and I feel less like a toddler. The edges are really uncomfortable on the backs of the legs because I'm so short trying to sit comfortably. All four sides of the stool seat are sharp edged, so watch yourself in a little ones. We use old couch throw pillows as stool cushions and that really helps with comfort level for everyone else at my house (ages ranging from 9 to 50, heights ranging from 5'9" to 6'3", weights ranging from 120 to 240 lbs). The stools are really sturdy, surprisingly so. I was really expecting them to be weak wobbly and really questioned if the MDF would support weight. They are and it does. I haven't had an issue with any trim peeling off of anything like other reviewers have. The table and stools are as described. The specs for height, length, width and depth are on point. The thickness of the stools and the table are about the same thickness as every table and share you're going to find that you don't pay $3,000 for. Everything lined up perfectly when putting together. I found two stools slightly didn't align right with the metal frame and the wood, but when I swapped the seat part out they lined up perfectly. So they're all manufactured drilled but yet they do seem to be kind of specific to themselves if that makes sense? So if you have issues with alignment when putting these things together try swapping around the pieces and parts because they do line up perfect. This came with four plastic corner pieces, like you get at the dollar store for baby proofing, for the table. I wish it came with ones that were deeper or covered the whole corner. If you have smaller children, shorter children, you should invest in a lot more of those and put them on every edge of every stool and table because it's very sharp. Good deal for the price. Works perfect for my needs. No issues so far.

Delighted with this table and the accompanying chairs! Really like the color. Perfect height, excellent stability, smooth table top, simple and straightforward, feels absolutely solid with a weight to it and very well secured with all the screws provided. Incredibly well packed! Don't think I've ever had a package so well packed, with all the bags, styrofoam, and tape for every single section placed so carefully. Opening it for the first time might be a bit overwhelming, but the only thing that will take some time are attaching the legs and screws of the 2 benches and 2 chairs. Surprisingly easy if you have the time and unwrap all the metal parts and lay them out in order. (Take a minute to make sure everything lays flat and even before completely screwing in and it will be all be perfectly level.) It comes with a tool which made the process a whole lot faster. So glad I didn't have to deal with an allen wrench. You can tell whoever made the plans put a lot of thought and effort into figuring out how to securely place every thing in one box. Be aware that the box is very heavy so be careful shoving it through the door after UPS drops it off or have a sturdy person on hand to help. The only minor issue was figuring out how the table top pulled apart to add the extension piece. Manual provided was easy to understand - except for that last drawing regarding that part. (In case anyone needs this, on the under side of the table top, just flip the two black tabs up like a light switch to be able to spread the sections. Remember to press back down when you lock, don't twist it!) Really happy with this 5- piece set. Great price for what you get. The only precaution needed I would think is to not mop the table with a soaking wet rag or to spill drinks on it. It can handle it for a while but may cause issues later on. Would suggest a nice PVC or waterproof tablecloth if you think that might be something you'll need. Great purchase!

I bought this dining set to replace an old standard 8-person dining room table and chairs that limited the space in the dining room of my one-bedroom apartment. The package was very heavy and its dimensions were a bit unwieldy, but I probably shouldn't have been so stubborn as to bring it up to my second-floor unit on my own. It took a few hours to assemble to whole set, but the construction was quite easy; all of the parts and tools were included (with some extra hardware, just in case) and the instructions were clear. Once assembled, I couldn't be happier with the sleek simple design that can fit any decor. Additionally, being able to store the benches underneath gives you a lot more room when not in use. It's also lightweight and very easy to move for cleaning around it. The only downside I've found is that even the slightest touch of your hand to the surface will leave a visible mark, but it easily wipes away clean afterward. Just be prepared to wipe it down often. If you're looking for a good table on a budget, this is a great choice!

Absolutely love this table, fits perfectly in my small space and it’s beautiful. Love that I have the option to extend it if I ever needed to. Pretty light for a table so it’s easy to move it and it was easy to put together. Stools/benches are the same in everything, great overall.

This dining room table is a great price for a dining room table. It fits really well inside a very small one bedroom or studio apartment. One rule to always keep in mind when shopping for a dining room table is to definitely stay away from CPB (compressed particle board) because any liquid spills on it will cause it to bubble up and look bad. That was my experience with this table and benches as well. It’s a dining room table, it’s gonna have liquid spilled on it, guaranteed. Other than that, it’s a nice table.

It was finally time to replace our old kitchen table and this looked like it would save a lot of floor space while also providing the option for more table space when we have visitors or are having a board-game night. It arrived in a single quite heavy pack so be sure to have a couple of people to bring it in. The packaging was good and all the pieces were well protected and nicely labelled which helps with assembly. I thought the ratchet-type Allen Wrench was a bit odd when I first saw it but it turned out to make life easier. I made a couple of mistakes while first putting it together, not noticing which way round the legs on the benches had to attach - check for which holes need to be facing inwards, and the same for the longer bars that support the seat, the curve on the inside edge goes on the outside. Once I knew to look out for them I paid more attention to the instructions and the rest was easy. As always with these sort of assembled furniture, only semi-tighten bolts until it's all together and square and then do the proper tightening after. The table looks nice and immediately saves us floor space in the dining area but gives us the option to have more table space when we need it (which my wife has already decided is very useful for sewing projects!). The mechanism for sliding out the leaves to fit the extra piece is smooth and easy, and the piece neatly secures underneath the table when not being used.

Beautiful set. Was very easy to put together, everything fit well. I purchased this set so we would have a nice place to sit for Christmas dinner. Received many compliments
