It is super light and folds up into nothing, but is well made and has been strong even when carrying quite a bit of weight. The front pocket is very handy so you aren't trying to fish smaller goods out of the main bag (some of the other ones I looked at didn't have this - why???) and the side mesh holders for water bottles are holding up well too.
