I’m really impressed with this caliper. It feels very well made with durable materials not flimsy at all. It measures in mm, inches, and fractions, which is super useful depending on the project. Very nice, well built caliper. Feels solid and operates very smoothly with readings in your choice of mm, decimal inches or fractional, making it very useful for machine work as well as woodworking or any application in which a fractional result is preferred. Uses readily available button batteries and includes two, along with a small screwdriver for changing them. An adequate plastic storage case is also provided. My senior brain wishes it had fractional rounding capability, to sixteenths, eighths etc.

What a great value! I have been an automotive technician for over 20 years and this digital caliper is hands down better then any caliper that I could purchase on one of the tool trucks. The functionality obviously works the same but as you slide it to make measurements, it moves very smoothly. I compared it to two other calipers at my shop that are from the tool trucks and the measurements are identical. It is fairly lightweight and the display is well lit. It came with a battery installed and an extra as well. I was surprised to find that it also came with a precision screw driver for battery replacement and an 8” stainless steel ruler. This is a great tool. I will definitely be ordering a 4” & 6” digital caliper from Hardell to add to my tool collection at home.

Do not order ! False information !! Supposed to be Waterproof !! Purchased on 9th August, used 3 time since there and the screen got flooded ! Worst product ever !!
