The best way to join Shimano chains in my experience.

Essential for chain maintenance.
Don’t try and put your old chain pin back in. It will graunch up your chain. Just get these. They are expensive for a couple of pins but it’s cheaper than a new chain and they go straight in.

A must have for chain and gear replacement
I needed to replace my entire setup on my bike, and so these connection pins were a must have for me to ensure everything was linked up and working properly after replacement. They are a bit fiddly to use due to the size, but they do their job well and I have full trust they will keep my chain together on my bike adventures.

this product may seem easy to use on YouTube but once in your fingers you can't see what you're doing! Just buy a new chain!

Not 3 pins, 1 had been removed.
Only 2 stars simply because whilst the actual pin is described as, a shimano 10 speed chain pin, the description states that it is for a pack of 3 pins and as pictured, only 2 arrived because someone has clearly decided they needed one out of the packet before it was put back on the shelf (which seems to have happened to others).

Ich habe ein Trekking-Rad (meridae) aus dem mitteleren Preissegment mit einer Shimano Deore XT Schaltgruppe. Da ich meine Kette deutlich zu lang gefahren bin, hat die Kette die Flanken meines alten Kettenblatts deutlich angeschrägt/angefräst und den Austausch dadurch notwendig gemacht. Nach Montage neuer Kettblätter und einer neuen Kette (inkl. Kürzung auf die richtige Länge Glieder) funktioniert jetzt alles wieder einwandfrei und ich werde zukünftig ein genaueres Auge auf die "Längung" meiner Kette haben, damit so etwas nicht wieder passiert. Und damit ich beim Reissen der Kette immer "reparaturfähig" bin, kommt dieses Teil jetzt in meine Werkzeugtasche am Fahrrad, da ich Touren um die 100km an schönen Tagen mache.
