Easy simple done. Fun to have mod
No wire problems just plug in and its running. The light is bright but not overbearing so it just helps when your rocketing through gears and you have that in the corner of your eye. Its sweet. Perfect addition to the Lufi unit its what car mods should be.

Excellent Product.
Excellent product and works great! Easy set up! The only improvement I’d like to see is a better mounting system. It uses double sided tape which I haven’t tested on hot days.

Very dim blue led that can be upgraded
The shift light has a really nice housing that is low profile and fits in tight spaces. It came with a really dim single led on a small board. The led was about 2mm x 2mm. The good news is you can buy different led bulbs and put them in this nice inexpensive housing. I ended up using a red led 1156 bulb, some clear epoxy, and some wiring I had laying around. This is still a good product that is worth the money, but its certainly not bright enough to be a shift light used during the day unless you modify it. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Must have for Lufi
I mounted the light above my tachometer on the dash with 3M Velcro tape and it's worked flawlessly. Great visual aid without taking eyes off the road. Must have if you already have the Lufi or are thinking about ordering it together.

Meh product not really needed for a X7 Lufi
Con: Cant see led (needs to solder a new led bulb), poor quality, does not mate to lufi X7 housing. Pro: Connects to back of X7 interface and works.
