Prints easy and colors are great

I recently had the pleasure of trying out rainbow-colored 3D print filament, and it has taken my 3D printing experience to a whole new level of excitement and creativity. I really like the matte rainbow. This stuff prints great in my printers. Plastic spool which is compatible with certain color changers. To speed up the color changes I print more than one of a item at a time. Otherwise the color change is a little too gradual. (though that still looks nice) The silk rainbow stuff is nice but the matte rainbow has a unique and cool look to me.

The colors in this filament are phenomenal. I love the matte finish it has as opposed to the shiny finish of other rainbow filaments. The color change is pretty slow though so you won’t see much, if any, change on smaller models. Even a large 5 hour print only had 3 full color changes.

Destroyed 2!!! 3D printers. Something very wrong with this product. I've used poor quality filament before, but has never damaged a printer/hotend. There must be solids of some type in this filament, as bringing hotend to 290C will not allow clog to be cleared. I unspooled about 10 feet of this junk and ran it between my fingers - there were a couple of spots that felt like the diameter had increased, or at least it was very rough, like two pieces of filament had been poorly bonded together. I may have hastily blamed AnkerMake for my new printer dying in just a few days. I printed maybe 15 jobs PERFECTLY with the first printer, then I tried this filament and the hotend JAMMED maybe 15% through the print and could not be cleared no matter what I tried. I figured the machine (hotend) was faulty so I returned it to Amazon for a replacement. Got the replacement printer and printed several beautiful jobs with other PLA, and then tried this one again. About 25% of the way in, the exact same thing happened as the first printer - it could not extrude any filament and would just clunk trying to feed this absolute GARBAGE from Creality. Please save the time, frustration and MONEY that this stuff will cause you. I will NEVER, EVER buy ANY Creality product again! And I was just seriously considering buying one of their 22-watt laser engraver machines too. No way, not ever after this. Creality should be ashamed to put this horrible product on the market.

i'm going to spread the blame to both amazon and creality. amazon shipped this in a bag that allowed it to break at the spool. the edge of the spool chipped and broke. it's still usable, but i was nervous the filament would snag on the break. no need to worry about the snag. the filament jammed a few times until it passed the chip. i use it so rarely because it keeps getting tangled and jammed. i ran it through my dryer twice and it's still sketchy. when it does print, the color change is nice. not that they're beautiful colors (they're not) but the gradual change is nice. that's how i'm at 3 stars. i've move on from their printers and might be doing the same with the filament

I print quite a bit on a Bambu Lab A-1 and of late I’ve been using Creality PLA filament. I especially like the rainbow version as no two prints of the same item look the same. The finish is a smooth matte finish, not shiny, and often there are no print artifacts I have to remove like tiny burrs, etc. I will definitely keep using this filament.
