Great Portable Power for the Price *UPDATED*
*UPDATED 6 Months Later* I am so pleased with this little generator. Since my original review of using this generator for running compressor and power tools, I finally had the opportunity to run it for the purpose I bought it for; running a small air conditioner at my no-power hunting camp. The generator performed exactly as expected, and was able to run the small 5,000 BTU air conditioner as well as some lights and providing me an AC outlet in my hunt camp camper for my phone charger for 6+ hours in 90 degree temperatures on the one gallon of gas. The generator is light enough for me to transport wherever I need it, so I have used it to run power tools on other "in the woods" projects to run my saw and nailer, electric landscaping tools and other plug-in equipment at my hunting stands. My latest experiment involved trying to run the electric systems on my 17" popup camper on this generator. With the 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner, as well as the Absorption-type fridge, and the main lights (2x LED banks) the generator was able to run everything. Once the AC ran through its start up cycle (large, temporary draw) and went to steady draw of about 1300 watts to run, I was able to run everything in eco mode, and did not overload the generator. I am incredibly pleased with the output of this generator and the small fuel consumption, small footprint, and relatively quiet operation. I would definitely purchase this again if I had need to replace this unit, or if I had increased power consumption. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* I purchased this generator on a Lightning Deal. It was a little bigger than what I wanted. I needed a small generator to run a 5000 BTU window AC on a camper I use at hunt camp. I was looking at the smaller Genmax generator (1200) but saw this one at basically the same price. This last weekend I had the opportunity to put it through its paces helping a friend build a cabin on a remote property he has. This generator was able to run a compressor (to run a framing nailer) as well as a chop saw for cutting dimensional lumber for framing, and a circular saw for cutting zip board. We even had an extra outlet we used to charge power tool batteries. The generator would struggle just a little bit if the air compressor and the chop saw ran at the same time, but it would catch up quickly and push on through. We ran the generator continuously for 6 hours on the single tank of gas. While its primary purpose will be to run the AC unit, I am now confident that I will be able to also run lights and perhaps even some appliances at the hunt camp trailer. The generator was quiet enough to be able to have a conversation standing next to it without really raising your voice. In fact, it was quieter than either the air compressor or the chop saw when they were running. All in all, I am very happy with its performance over the weekend, and I'm sure it will be more than adequate for what it was originally purchased for.

A Must-Have for Outdoor Adventures and Backup Power!
I couldn’t be happier with the GENMAX GM2800iSAC! I bought it for camping trips and to use as an emergency backup generator, and it’s honestly been a game-changer. What I Love About It: ⚡ Plenty of Power – This little generator has more than enough juice to run my 5,000 BTU AC, lights, and all my small electronics (phone, laptop, etc.) simultaneously without breaking a sweat. The clean inverter power means I can run sensitive devices with zero worries about damage. 🎒 Super Portable – Weighing only 45 lbs, I can easily carry it from the car to the campsite. The handle is solid and makes it easy to transport, even when it’s fully fueled. 🔇 Surprisingly Quiet – It’s definitely quieter than traditional generators! We were able to have normal conversations standing right next to it. It’s not “silent,” but for the power it provides, it’s impressively quiet. ⛽ Great Fuel Efficiency – The runtime is awesome! I’ve been getting around 6–8 hours on a single gallon of gas at partial load. That’s perfect for longer camping trips or power outages without constantly needing to refuel. 🛡️ Awesome Safety Features – The CO Detect sensor gives me peace of mind when using it indoors or in semi-enclosed spaces like the garage. I love that it automatically shuts off if unsafe CO levels are detected. Final Thoughts: For the price, this generator punches well above its weight. It’s powerful, portable, and built with safety in mind. Whether you're camping, tailgating, or just want some peace of mind during power outages, this generator is a fantastic choice. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase—highly recommend it!

Loved it so much, bought another one!
Got this generator to have on hand in case of power outage, natural disaster, etc. Once I got it however, I realized what else I could do with it. I've used it camping, on family outings and doing things around the house where I don't have an extension cord long enough. When I found out you could run two in parallel, I bought the second one. I'm now prepared for pretty much any eventuality where I need quick, easy, transportable power. The one thing I'm not too happy about is it is listed as quiet. Nothing about these generators are quiet. But the rest of the performance is so good that I don't mind the noise.

CO sensor shuts generator down all the time!!
Good on power and construction. Runs rich and co sensor sucks. Mounted in a utility truck ran exhaust 4 ft away won't run more then 2 minutes with doors open and fan on it. Disappointed

Fantastic generator at an even better price.
The generator was relatively easy to setup, all I needed was a little bit of 10w-30 oil gasoline and it started right up on the 2nd pull. The generator ran super quiet and smoothly. I'm very impressed as it can power my large vacuum and air compressor without overloading. Hopefully it holds up well.
