Anker USB C Hub, 4-in-1 USB Splitter, USB Extender, Computer Accessories

Works really well, since moving to a USB C version (Used to have the general USB 3) and plugging into one of the many spare ports I had on the back of my my Mac Studio, all the drives are running faster and have more spare ports should I want them. The extra length of the cable also makes all the difference so well worth the price.

This is a superby, useful USB hub for my laptop. It's superby easy to use - just plug it in and it's ready to go. It provides excellent transfer speeds when I'm copying data from PC to a USB stick. It fits into my cable bag for when I'm travelling and is great value for money as it's from a recognisable brand name. The cable length is perfect for my office requirements.The hub also has great heat management and won't get superbly hot during daily use. A very handy thing to have in your cable pouch, or attached to your laptop.

I purchased one of these for a new Mac Mini which only has USB-C and Thunderbolt ports. It's small and light and (like all my Anker purchases so far) it's good quality.I have read of people having problems with power-consuming USB devices such as external hard drives, particularly when plugged into a USB-A hub plugged into a rear port on the Mac. This one is NOT a powered hub, and NOT a charging device, so it's a matter of reading all the specs carefully before deciding if it meets your needs. One unfortunate consequence of a standardised connector for devices with different power capabilities.

Needed some extra front IO usb ports but not some slow 2.0 or standard 3.0. ideally I wanted maybe 8 ports but this Anker one was the best I could find for my budget.It's been plugged into the USB C thunderbolt port on my front IO so can handle the hubs 5GBPS transfer speed; infact the hub is now the bottleneck as that USB C port can do up to 20GBPS.I mounted it with double sized tape, no sticky pad or mounting options were provided with the hub but that's fine, onto the front of my PC where it's easily accessible and removable if needed. The cable is a bit too long but I'd rather it was too long than too short.So far, works a charm and I'm able to use it to avoid having to crawl on my hands and knees under my desk to the back of my PC just to plug my USB mouse dongle (which I often unplug and use with a laptop elsewhere) into the faster USB port so it has no input lag. Now, I can just plug it in here along with my USB drives and Xbox controller when it's needed.I can recommend grabbing one of these If you're in need of more high speed front IO usb ports like I was. It works great :)

Works great with a new M4 Mac Mini. Great quality as usual

There is little to add to the item description other than that it is as described and works well for connecting my legacy USB-A drives and peripherals to the USB-C port on an M4 Mac mini. I have quite a few items from Anker over the years now and it is a bit of a default option for me now for ancillary computer cables, ports and things like ear buds. I've never had a problem with them and they always have a premium-but-not-unduely-expensive feel to them. This item follows that pattern.

I have a few of the USB A cable version, and they are great.I have a new laptop which mainly has USB C sockets, and this version with a USB C cable is just as good. All the ports on this are USB A.I like the sturdy lightweight plastic design; it doesn't feel cheap.Be aware that it doesn't pass a lot of power. Ok for usb sticks, usb ssd drives (it will transfer files fast), plus wireless mouse dongles, usb mouse and keyboard, logitech clicker, etc.But it won't power an external spinning hard drive.I think the total max current it can pass is 0.9 amp, so keep that in mind.

Ich habe inzwischen gleich drei sehr ähnliche USB-Hubs von Anker im Einsatz.Bei zwei davon weiß ich sogar noch genau, wofür.Einen nutze ich als USB-C-Erweiterung beziehungsweise zur zusätzlichen Anbindung von USB-C-Geräten. Ein anderer hängt an meinem Home-Assistant-System und stellt dort zusätzliche klassische USB-A-Anschlüsse bereit.Beim dritten Hub muss ich ehrlich passen.Ich weiß zwar noch, dass ich ihn gekauft und irgendwo eingebaut habe, aber wofür genau, fällt mir beim besten Willen nicht mehr ein.Das ist allerdings eher ein gutes Zeichen.Alle drei Geräte laufen bei mir stabil und unauffällig. Keine Verbindungsabbrüche, keine merkwürdigen Aussetzer und keine Situationen, in denen ich mich mit Treibern oder sonstigen Problemen beschäftigen musste.Anstecken, Geräte verbinden und benutzen.Genau so erwarte ich das von einem USB-Hub.Die Verarbeitung ist ebenfalls typisch Anker: ordentliches Gehäuse, sauber sitzende Anschlüsse und insgesamt ein wertiger Eindruck.Wichtig ist natürlich, dass es sich hier primär um einen Datenhub handelt und nicht um eine Dockingstation mit Ladefunktion und allem Drum und Dran. Für zusätzliche USB-Anschlüsse ist er aber genau richtig.Mein Fazit nach mittlerweile mehreren Exemplaren:**Zwei weiß ich noch, wofür ich sie brauche. Das dritte funktioniert offenbar so zuverlässig, dass ich sogar seinen Einsatzzweck vergessen habe.**Mehr Lob kann man einem USB-Hub eigentlich kaum machen.

Excelente produto! O último hub que eu havia comprado era frágil, raso e todos os dispositivos plugados nele ficavam com mau contato. Este da Anker é sólido, muto bem construído. Os plugues entram justos e firmes. Não há mais mau contato e a velocidade de transmissão é ótima. Muito bom mesmo. Recomendo.
