Damn pleased
Selected this powered sub for a system overhaul in a first gen tundra with the access cab. Running it off the head units low level outs with Infinity Primus 603CF in the front doors and Primus 603F in the rear doors. Speakers are powered off a Kicker 46CXA3604. There is also a Timpano TPT-SP4BT between the Sony MEX-N5300BT head unit and the Kicker amp. The door speakers and sub are well matched and neither is in danger of overpowering the other. The sub fills the cab space nicely. For rock and metal, the sub can be dialed back a little to avoid muddy or boomy basslines and instead give that low end fill. For electronic, hiphop, etc, it can be dialed up a little for some nice punch. In the latter scenario, the sub has a generous sweet spot where the bass sounds and feels tight. It's not difficult at all to keep it from becoming muddy/boomy. Plenty of bass slapping your eardrums without vibrating the car. One caveat. Like the Kicker amp, this unit's crossover is adjusted by a tiny knob, with only its min and max labeled. I would not recommend planning to set your crossovers using this knob, but rather set it at a sensible fallback frequency that wont interfere with the actual crossover point. In my case, the Sony MEX-N5300BT head unit is where I set a precise 100Hz crossover for the sub, and the door speakers crossover is set by the Timpano DSP. Overall I am damn pleased. My old 2004 Tundra isn't exactly an audiophiles dream, but this unit has made a substantial contribution toward making it sound great.

Exceptionally engineered
I’m really pleased and surprised about how well this unit performs! It’s sounds great and produces more than enough volume. And mine can produce more than enough volume even though it’s located in the trunk. My last woofer was a JBL 10” 1000w in a small ported box with a JBL amp, and it didn’t sound as good as this unit. If you tune this unit properly, you will love it!

Great quality for the price.
Been very happy with this little powered Subwoofer. Even the installer said they had never installed this Infiniti product before but, were "very impressed".

Not enough power
Put in Ram 2500 crew cab way to small and not enough power did help but there are better options out there
