Lexar advertises speeds of up to 280MB/s read and 160MB/s write. In benchmark testing using CrystalDiskMark software, the card reached a maximum read speed of 259.17MB/s. While slightly below the claimed read speed, it remains impressively fast. Notably, the peak write speed came in at 164.98MB/s, slightly exceeding Lexarโs own specifications. These memory cards shine in real-world use. The V60 speed class is more than sufficient for most creative tasks, and performance remained consistent even during multiple small file transfers and sustained in-camera recording. Paired with my Canon R6ii, they handled high-resolution stills and 4K video recording with ease, and had excellent responsiveness handling bursts of uncompressed RAW files. Overall, the Lexar SILVER PRO offers a compelling combination of speed, capacity, and price, making it a smart choice for all photographers.
