[UL Listed] Cable Matters 10-Pack Low Profile 2-Port Keystone Jack Wall Plate, RJ45 Wall Plate for Keystone Jacks in White

For a home wiring job, I used all Cable Matters stuff (wall plates, keystones, cable, tools.) This stuff is all standard as to size so its not really brand sensitive. These wall plates fit as you would expect. The keystones fit tight (no wiggle) and both are the exact same color. Included screws with white painted ends. Everything looks and works good. I would buy again if I needed more.

Okay, let’s get this out of the way: this is a wall plate. Not a spaceship control panel. Not a magic portal to faster internet. Just a good old-fashioned wall plate with four RJ45 ports. And guess what? It does exactly that. It sits on your wall, looks clean, and holds your cables like a champ. Does it change your life? No. Does it make your coffee? Also no. But hey, it’s UL Listed, so you know it’s safe to stare at for hours without catching fire or spontaneously teleporting your router to Narnia. If you’re the kind of person who gets excited about neat, tidy cables and not having ethernet wires dangling like spaghetti from your walls, this is your jam. Comes in a 10-pack, because why not be overly prepared for your future wall plate empire? In short: it’s a wall plate. And it does the wall plating thing really well. So if you need to wall plate your walls, this is probably it.

Overall these plates are fine for the price. I had quite bit of difficulty trying to get the keystones into the slots on the back which took much more time than I wanted per plate. I've installed thousands of these (we typically buy leviton locally) and never had this problem. It seems the square is just slightly too small for the jack to fit in properly. I ended up scratching several of these trying to get the keystones installed. Other than that these work just fine. The texture on the outside feels a little different. Kind of like a glossy enamel but looks as others plates do. Needless to say I will purchase these again as they're significantly less expensive than popular brands but only if my local distributor is out of stock again.

Abused them, they never broke. Look good, not cheapo junk. Would buy again.

Great product with a bit more space between the jacks makes it stronger and more secure when inserted, better than some of the well known brands

The keystone modules/inserts fit in these but you really need to push hard. It almost feels like you might break the jack/insert or even this cover plate (which is why I only gave 4 stars) but once in place they look and work great. I would not want to try and remove the inserts however.
