Cat 7 Ethernet Cable 25FT, SFTP 10Gbps High Speed Cat7 RJ45 Cord, OD: 6.0mm

Worked good. Would have worked better if I had ordered the right size and figures. These guys are great. Put out a great signal. And they put out a great product and work with you well.Definitely recommend!!!

Good gold plated contacts on these cables, I run them along my wall to my printer and they work just fine. The sheathing is good quality and thick. I feel confident using this around my home for my networking setup, and have done several repeats on this product, ordering whenever I need more.

Works as advertised

Using this cable with HDMI over Ethernet adapters and it works great. I had a 50ft. HDMI cable that was too long for what I needed and was just not reliable with the signal going out frequently. I even tried wireless HDMI adapters but my house is flooded with 5GHz wireless, making them unreliable as well. This cable, along with the HDMI Ethernet adapters worked far better.

I know CAT7 is overkill for a 2.5Gbe LAN, but there's no reason to stick with CAT5e when you can get CAT7 cables for a decent price. I think $10 for a 25 foot cable is not to shabby and down the road when I can afford to step up to a 10Gbe network at home, I won't have to buy all new cables then.I recently bought the switches I need to get my home network speeds to 2.5G, so I was able to test this cable right away. In iperf (for those unaware, iperf is avery small command line tool that easily tests network speeds between a couple computers) I got very good results.C:\Users\colso\Downloads\iperf-3.1.3-win64>iperf3.exe -c 192.168.88.219Connecting to host 192.168.88.219, port 5201[ 4] local 192.168.88.100 port 51130 connected to 192.168.88.219 port 5201[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth[ 4] 0.00-1.00 sec 284 MBytes 2.37 Gbits/sec[ 4] 1.00-2.00 sec 276 MBytes 2.32 Gbits/sec[ 4] 2.00-3.00 sec 290 MBytes 2.43 Gbits/sec[ 4] 3.00-4.00 sec 292 MBytes 2.45 Gbits/sec[ 4] 4.00-5.00 sec 290 MBytes 2.43 Gbits/sec[ 4] 5.00-6.00 sec 288 MBytes 2.42 Gbits/sec[ 4] 6.00-7.00 sec 290 MBytes 2.44 Gbits/sec[ 4] 7.00-8.00 sec 290 MBytes 2.43 Gbits/sec[ 4] 8.00-9.00 sec 290 MBytes 2.43 Gbits/sec[ 4] 9.00-10.00 sec 292 MBytes 2.45 Gbits/sec- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[ ID] Interval Transfer Bandwidth[ 4] 0.00-10.00 sec 2.81 GBytes 2.42 Gbits/sec sender[ 4] 0.00-10.00 sec 2.81 GBytes 2.42 Gbits/sec receiveriperf Done.So this is a particular test that doesn't tell us what we would get by just transferring a bunch of files across the network because those files will most likely be of many different sizes. Big and small. So if you look at the pics I've included, you'll see what those types of copies look like in terms of speed. The first pic is a transfer of a Steam game from one of my PC's to another. It was just over 9GB total and included many small and large files. The top speed I received was 145 MBps and the lowest was 14 MBps. It averaged just a little over 100 MBps though. So not the 2.5 Gbps you would hope for. Now for the second pic. It represents one large file, almost 3GB in size. This copy topped out at 279 MBps and never dropped below 250.So between the switch, the network cards and the PC's themselves (because the CPU does make a difference) I'm getting some really good numbers and I would definitely recommend this cable.I know that if you are seeing this review you are already on the page for this cable, but here is my Amazon affiliate link to it. They have been working great since I bought them and they carry a lifetime warranty, unlike some other brands I noticed when I was researching which ones to buy.https://amzn.to/43QhHXSHere is a link to the some good (inexpensive) 2.5 Gbe network cards that I have tested and been very happy with thus far.goCoax EA2500 RTL8125B 2.5Gbe Network Card ----------- https://amzn.to/3KUbEc3RLihm 2.5Gbe intel I225-V based NIC ------------------------- https://amzn.to/43OmnNZSNZIYAG 2.5Gbe Realtek RT8125B NIC ----------------------- https://amzn.to/3NgAC8HNETELY PCIE 2.5Gbps intel I225-T1 based NIC --------------- https://amzn.to/3UOadAJ
