Just got this and I'm a happy little camper. This watch case is solid and built well. The top is glass and is packed well for shipping. The hinges aren't that exciting but they work well and will hold the top open. The pillows are nice and soft - not stiff. There are 4 small feet on the bottom which helps keep it off the dresser a bit and slide well. The bottom drawer is great for my pocket and smaller watches, as well as other doodads. I finally have a nice-looking case to put all the loose timepieces I had everywhere in my bedroom. Looking around the internet there are so many choices at so many price levels (and many bad reviews), so I thought I would buy an 'amazon one' for now. But honestly, this case checks all the boxes and is now a permanent addition to my bedroom. The only picky downside is the front is not one solid piece of wood, so you can easily see the lid, front, and drawer as separate pieces. (a hand-made one would use one piece of wood to make it look seamless.). The bottom drawer is great but not as smooth as something custom-made either. But none if these is a detractor. For $35 this is an amazing deal, and I highly recommend it.

The first one I received the drawer was hard to pull out, so I returned for a replacement. This is really nice. The color is as stated and has a smooth finish and looks great on the dresser. It's nice to have all your watches in one display in a dust free environment and be able to choose which one to wear at a glance. Plenty of room in the drawer for rings, bracelets and chains. The glass top lets enough light thru to charge my echo-drive watches. The only thing for me is that a few of my echo-drive watches take up the whole width of the slot but still fit without touching. All in all, this a great looking case and very convenient.

I went with four of the 12 watch cases instead of two 24’s. I have stacked the cases with no ill affects. (Only 2 high) Just make sure the cases are completely square around the perimeter. The outer wood frame seems stronger than the case bottom. The cases have a real glass lid and have had no issues keeping my Solar watches charged. My two radio controlled watches have had no issues receiving their signals.. I have found that on larger watches with stiff straps they fit in case better without the pillows. The watch case has a felt lining to prevent any scratches. There is enough clearance between the top of watch dividers and glass to put moisture absorbing bags in case with watches. The case does not lock which would be nice to keep curious little hands out. The only minor complaint I have is the wood is rough cut and I got a splinter when I first got them. All and all the case seems to be of decent quality at a good price.

It is built for purpose! However the lower shelf doesn’t open easily. Overall worth the money and looks very elegant!
