Super clear video day and night with Call Button!
The blurams A31C Lumi Cam is yet another fantastic security camera from blurams. This model has added a call button that lights up bright enough to serve as a night light. The light can be turned off in settings if not needed. The pan and tilt feature is very quiet and the digital zoom remains relatively clear. It has the ability to generate a panorama and specific presets for quick access to different viewing angles. If power is lost to the camera, all settings are remembered when power returns. If power is on and internet goes down, the camera continues to record to an installed SD card. Super clear video day and night! I see a lot of comments that mention the lack of 5 GHz Wi-Fi. The 2.4 GHz frequency is best for security cameras in the majority of cases. This wavelength has a longer range and can penetrate solid objects more easily than the 5 GHz band, making it ideal for cameras that will be placed further away from the router. The 2.4 GHz frequency supplies more than enough speed for these security cameras. The increased speed of 5 GHz is therefore not necessary. The 2.4 GHz frequency is even more necessary for cameras like this one because, instead of a larger high gain external antenna, a small internal antenna is used to keep the camera as compact as possible. Drones that have both 2.4 and 5 GHz capabilities will rarely use 5 GHz because of the much farther range the drone will fly with 2.4 GHz. Even with the highly congested 2.4 gigahertz band, security cameras like this one will have more placement options, with better connectivity, using 2.4 gigahertz. These are the main reasons why cameras like this do not include 5 GHz. I see other comments that say this is not a wireless camera because it has to be plugged in to a power source. The term "wireless" is used to reference the wireless Wi-Fi connection of the camera to the router. This is the most convenient way to set up security cameras since there is usually an outlet near by to power the camera but the router may be far away. Some security cameras will use a LAN cable that links the camera to the router. This can limit the placement options of cameras because of the need to run LAN cables to the router. Other security cameras have both Wi-Fi and LAN cable connection options. No mater how the camera/router link is accomplished, Wi-Fi or LAN cable, the camera still has to be powered either by an internal or external battery, which has to be kept charged, or an AC power source. I hope this explains some of the terminology used on security cameras.

One of the best cameras I’ve ever had. It does everything you want. Brilliant work.
This is one of the best security cameras I’ve ever used and I’ve used a lot of different kinds. This one has all sorts of features that aren’t on other different cameras and the resolution is perfect, It tracks everything it sees and it records all audio. It’s an awesome camera for the price. Great connection, Great night vision, great quality, great functionality, very easy to setup. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good security camera that works very well and doesn’t require any maintenance or adjusting it, It has been consistently recording everything it sees and hears from the day I hooked it up and it tells me if there’s an object blocking the camera, it’s got facial recognition and knows who you are just by looking at you twice and it’s just a brilliant camera that even my dad thinks it’s awesome and he doesn’t really like cameras but they protect him and our property. 10 stars out of 5.

Great little security camera for the money
We bought two of these cameras for my MIL. She is 95 and has Alzheimer's and Dementia and her nurses and doctors all strongly recommended we get cameras for in her home, she lives alone. We were constantly worrying when she didn’t answer her phone, not knowing if she had fallen or lost her phone. Since we live 4 houses down from her my husband would have to get up and drive to her house to check to make sure she was ok. Now with the cameras we can see where she is at all times and where she left her phone, and even talk to her directly through the camera and that volume is loud and clear. It is taking a little bit for her to get used to the camera, we should have bought the black model it wouldn’t have been so noticeable, but I think after a few days she will forget it’s even there. We highly recommend this camera. It is so easy to set up and use, very user friendly. The sound is awesome and the picture is clear. It’s supposed to be wireless and I have them charged but haven’t figured out how to make it work without it being plugged in yet. We have a couple of issues we are still working on and I hope to be able to contact someone to ask questions. The manual is pretty much like all manuals nowadays so you need to be a little tech savvy or have someone who is to figure everything out.

Seems to work until it proves to be worthless garbage
Bought this camera to spy on my cats while I was not home or asleep. I didn’t want to pay a subscription, which is why I bought this camera, because it said it would do what I needed without one. All I wanted was to see clips when there was activity. At first, it worked great, tracked all the action and I could replay the clips with no problem. They used to be 15 seconds then they reduced them to 12. Whatever, I can deal with that. But slowly, it stopped functioning so well. At first, it would drop a clip here or there - it would show there was a clip, but when you tried to play, it would either play 1-2 seconds and then the clip would end, or it just wouldn’t play. Half the time the defective clips were represented by a stock photo of a living room in place of a still from the video, so you couldn’t even see a preview of what you might have missed. It went from this happening every now and then, to being the norm. All the while, the app is obnoxiously pushing subscriptions to their cloud service. Of course, by that time the return window was well past. And this whole time, the camera is recording my family/humans walking around with no issues. It never had any problem playing those clips. I truly believe the Blurams software was programmed to learn what I was using the camera for, and specifically stopped recording those actions, to hide everything I wanted to see behind a paywall. It became clear that this was the most useless thing I have ever ordered from Amazon. After finally realizing it was never going to function again unless I signed up for their ridiculous cloud service, I decided to throw it away, but not before smashing it against the ground a few times for my own satisfaction. Destroying it was probably my favorite thing about it. It does not deserve even the one star I was forced to give.
