Best all round sound & solid ANC
Though on the pricier side, I did some research online & saw lots of good reviews of the Jabra active 8s so I decided to go ahead & buy a pair. Long story short, they are worth the price because they sound great, no gimmicks, solid ANC performance good for isolation during those beast mode moments at the gym, they can take a splash/sweat without budging, have fair transparency mode useful when situational awareness is needed while listening to your favorite tunes, podcast or whatever fills your cup of tea... So far I've experienced solid battery life & they are surprisingly lightweight & the fit is just right & secure for me. I haven't gotten any issues with discomfort & fatigue after prolonged use. I'd recommend for anyone looking for a solid quality sounding pair of earbuds. Too bad Jabra has exited the consumer earbuds market. The Active 8 & 10 series earbuds they've release lately seemed like great products. This pair will also be my souvenir from Jabra earbuds I guess

Jabra Elite 8 Active- best running headphones
I have been using Jabra headphones for many years and was expecting good things from the latest iteration and I was not disappointed. As usual, the set up from out of the box is straight forward via the Jabra Sound+ app. You are able customize your headphones and register easily enough. The feel and fit are excellent and they look like a high quality product. The charging case and use of the earbuds are all high quality feeling and looking. There are 3 size of earbuds and for me the largest were the most comfortable - I would have liked 2 more sizes in between the sizes given though for a perfect choice and fit . The active noise cancellation is good , much better than the Jabra 5. The functions of the buttons of the earbuds can be customized. The call quality clear and the callers did not have any issue hearing me, even whilst running. When running the earbuds were comfortable and remained snug even whist sweating heavily. There are two new options with these compare to previous versions of Jabra's headphone. You are able to add Spotify to them and there is Dolby Spatial Sound which give a 3D sound effect. I would not hesitate to recommend these

Great for the office!
Very pleased with the quality of these air buds, being an Apple fanatic it’s hard to win me over but I was strict straight away by the rubber tactile feel which feels premium. The buds case is modest albeit bigger than an AirPods case it still fits very comfortably in my pocket and is small enough I’ll probably misplace it! The buds themselves sit snuggly in my ear after selecting the correct tip. The sound quality is great with fair noise cancellation of what’s going g on around me. The microphone quality after a few practice records was good, that cringy moment of hearing myself. Overall I love these and will use them daily for work and sport. I did find they were a bit loose when running and was a bit nervous on them.

Fantastic earbuds, great sound
Bought when on a regular sale, so offered more value for money. I find the Jabra elite active range to be the best earbuds I’ve found. The Acitve 8s have a huge jump in battery life over the 75T and 65T, and a much more compact design and comfortable fit. The case can charge wired or by wireless charging (wired tends to be quicker to charge the case up though). The case and buds charge up quickly and top up charges last long enough to never have the batteries run out on you. I wear mine almost all day when working a desk job. From around 9am, with noise cancellation on, the low battery notification only kicks in around 4pm and at that point you still have 20% of battery. Without ANC, I get a few hours longer. People say these aren’t bassy enough, but I really don’t know how much bass they want or need. These have a really solid sound considering the size of the earbud. I have the bass at a lower level than the maximum and find I get a really good sound that doesn’t sound like small earbuds at all. The complaints could be from people who have not seated the earbuds solidly into the ear (correct size tips and ensuring you twist into place to lock them in your ear) as there is no bass if not worn correctly, but this is the same for most earbuds. Theres a decent equaliser to get the sound you want, along with customisable buttons and features. The white noise sounds are also a nice addition. Sadly, these are the last Active buds Jabra are going to make, so I will likely buy these again if available when the battery starts to degrade (which is inevitable after 2 years or so with such a small battery used so regularly). However, the fact I would buy these again in a heart beat is a testament to how good these are. Although full price is expensive, they are often on offer and the offer price is very good value. I certainly recommend these over AirPods or more well known brands such as Bose or Sony.

Huge downgrade
I bought these as an upgrade from my elite 75t actives which I had for about 2 years, arguably the best earphones I've had. I thought these would be much of the same with improved audio quality. Much to my disappointment, the audio at max volume is not even half as loud as the 75t I previously owned. I figured there might be a software related issue, but after upgrading to the latest firmware the issue of low volume still persisted. I also tried modifying the sound quality through Jabra's Sound+ app, but that did little to nothing to improve the sound. The ANC is also of regrettably poor quality and feels like a downgrade compared to the 75t series. I'm extremely disappointed given the price tag, honestly I would tag this as a downgrade with hardware related audio issues but there absolutely is an issue with the sound. I sadly would not recommend buying these until they fix the audio problem, it's a serious shame because atleast they look fantastic... EDIT: received replacement on 9 sept, audio is clearer on new earbuds but several issues are still prevalent: 1. Clicking the right ear doesn't always play music from your music player. Similarly, pressing play on a YouTube video with the earbuds synced doesn't always provide the audio output. The only way to make it work was to pause the video and play again using the right earbud. 2. The microphone doesn't seem to pickup my voice at all when speaking to someone on the phone for the first time. I have to recall maybe 2 to 3 times before the mic realises I'm trying to speak? Oddly frustrating....

Sturdy and sleek
Let's dive into the aesthetics first! The Jabra 8 Active earbuds and their casing boast a sleek design. The casing itself exudes durability and a touch of luxury. When it comes to comfort and fit, these earbuds excel. They nestle comfortably in my ears without causing any irritation. What's even better is that they come with extra rubber bud covers, making them adaptable to various ear shapes. Whether I'm doing household chores or working out, these earbuds stay put without requiring constant adjustment. This sense of security enhances my workout experience, knowing I won't accidentally lose them. As for the sound quality, it didn't disappoint. I appreciated the ability to customize the bass levels through the free accompanying app. This allowed me to fine-tune the bass to match my music during workouts or adapt it for a clear, balanced sound during work calls, movie watching, or podcast listening on my phone. The noise-cancelling feature exceeded my expectations. It effectively eliminated unwanted distractions, and the "hear through" option, accessible with a simple tap on the earphone, was a game-changer, especially when I was outdoors. The customizable shortcuts on the earbuds were a thoughtful addition. They enabled me to effortlessly change tracks, pause, answer calls, or switch between "hear through" and noise-cancelling modes without constantly reaching for my phone. The app further allowed me to personalize these shortcuts to my liking. In summary, the Jabra 8 Active earbuds truly impressed me. Their comfortable fit, adaptability to individual needs, and versatile performance set them apart. I encountered no issues whatsoever, making them an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a reliable and comfortable audio piece

Great "active" earbuds
Overall, I’ve been very impressed with the Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds. What I like: - The fit is excellent once you choose the correct tips (I needed the middle size ones that were pre-fitted, my 18 year-old daughter needed the small ones – swapping them was very easy). I feel much more confident that they won’t fall out when exercising. There’s a noticeable resistance when taking the buds out, highlighting the good snug fit. Make sure you try out the different sizes; the small tips were noticeably too small for me as the noise cancelling wasn’t as effective. - The noise cancellation (ANC) is great; if I have music playing I can’t hear much background noise at all. When out running or walking, the ANC does a great job of masking the noise of traffic. - The sound quality is superb. Stereo works great, the sound is crisp and clear with decent treble and bass without the need to change settings in the app. I recommend turning the Spatial Sound on in the app for a more immersive sound. - Battery life, especially with the case recharging them around 4 times, is superb. - The buttons are nice and tactile; they can’t be pressed by accident like many other earbuds. What I don’t like (not a lot!): - The look is different to your conventional earbuds and can look a bit chunky in smaller ears. - I’ve not yet found a way to be able to control volume using the buds; you can personalise the button actions but don’t seem to be able to set volume up/down to one. If you want a quality pair of earbuds with great fit, sound quality, ANC and battery life, I’d thoroughly recommend these.

great earbuds
After a few rubbish sets of ear buds these are very good. Great battery life and sound, work well, controls are easy to use. Only flaw is when you lose them, I wish you could make them, and the case signal in real time so I don't spend ages looking for tiny black objects in or out of a tiny black case when I want to be out for a run. I mean, I know I could just tidy up once in a while but no!
