Dyson Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer, No Heat Damage, Styling Concentrator, Precision Styling Blow Dryer (Black/Nickel)

I bought this hair dryer in mid-October. It worked only three times, the fourth time it just stopped working, I called Dyson and first time they said they would send me a return label within 8-10 minutes. 24 hours later I called again and I did get a return label and had to take it to UPS, They received it back on November 7th. On November 10th I received an email saying "Your new machine is on its way", with an order number and tracking link to UPS, But UPS says it has no information, I waited a week or so and called Dyson back (but I have to say each time I called I waited at least 20-30 minutes to talk to someone whose English is very hard to understand). He told me it takes 7-14 business days to process. After a few more phone calls I was told I would have a new machine on November 27th. Of course, it never came. I called again on November 30th and the man I talk to said he would send an email to wherever these machines come from and call me back. Needless to say it is now December 3rd and I have not heard from him, I do not know what to do from here. But I am very disappointed in Dyson and their customer service. You should expect better from a company who sells a $400. hair dryer. I bought this through Amazon but do not feel it is their problem that is why I have wasted hours waiting for some satisfaction from Dyson,

I read reviews to determine which brand for this type of hair dryer was the best. I am really disappointed. My hair is not particularly curly or wavy, pretty much straight. I spend significant time sectioning my hair to dry it properly but this dryer doesn't work any better than the $39.00 dryer I have been using. Hair comes out bushy and frizzy. It does not leave hair smooth, with nice finish. I still have to flat iron my hair to give it that polished look. Hair dryer is heavier when using than presented by the information. I received the dryer a couple of weeks before going out of town for 3 weeks. I missed the window for returning the product. Now I'm out a considerable amount of money that I normally wouldn't have spent of a hair dryer. I feel like I was miss led!

Update…… Dyson has notified me that my hairdryer is defective and cannot be repaired after 5 months of use. They are only obligated to send me a working machine, not a new one!!! I guess I should have read the fine print!. I will be receiving a used refurbished dryer that someone else turned in and they repaired!! NEVER EVER WILL I BUY A DYSON AGAIN!!!!!!!! Stopped working after 5 months. Dyson would not replace, they said they would only repair. I had to jump through hoops to finally get approval for it to be sent off to their repair facility. Not what I expected for a $400 hair dryer. I wanted it replaced since it had only been 5 months. Disappointed in Dyson and will not purchase any of their products ever again. Also. I am still waiting for it to be returned to me. I had to follow up because they never notified me if they received it like they indicated in their email. Bad customer service

We purchased it on July/2025 and it’s June/2026 now and it doesn’t work anymore!! What a waste of money! Do not recommend it.

Aweful. Set on fire after 2.5 years. Not a single help or accountability from either Amazon or Dyson. Very disappointing

This item stopped working less than 10 months after I purchased it. I’m very disappointed. Amazon’s chat said Amazon could not help with this issue.

This blow dryer only worked for 7 months and Amazon won’t do anything about it. I have had two previously that I purchased through Dyson that both lasted me 2 years. Absolutely not worth $400 when buying through Amazon.
