This scale is an extremely good value, in my opinion. It comes with a calibration weight that is tucked into a compartment in the bottom so it is very easy to confirm its accuracy. It is light weight, easy to use, and works… there really isn’t much more to say. If you need a good food scale, you’ll be very pleased with this.

It is a good accurate scale. I wish you could set a default unit of measure. It comes up on grams which is fine but, my wife prefers ounces. Good durability, repeatability and ease of use. I like that it has a weight to calibrate the scale. Easy to clean.

After much browsing I bought this unit. I selected it because it has a bright display with a large enough platform so my large bowls dont hide it, without being too tall for the storage drawer. Also, it is USB rechargeable, has push buttons, not the horrid touch buttons. These are the features I required. I really don't need more than on/off, tare, and unit. Give me simplicity! But maybe in time I will find the other features helpful. It is insanely accurate, (to tenths of a gram, which is something I don't want and complicates the display, so I simply stuck a piece of black electrical tape ove the tenths place), and it comes with a calibrating weight. Really! I found that it is provided because different altitudes affect the weight--that's how precise this unit is! The user manual is a small slip of paper with fine print, and that discouraged me from thoroughly reading it. They really should provide instuctions with larger print to go with the scales fabulously readable display. Because of that problem, my first review had this complaint: "I really wish the auto turn-off gave way more time or could be turned off." Well, if I had read closely I would have learned that a long hold on the tare button allows the auto-off to be set at 1 min, (which is how it came, and it was killing me) to 2, 3 minutes, and never. That's awesome! What is also awesome is the customer responsiveness of this company. They read my review and promptly emailed me to resolve my dissatisfaction. Now I am delighted with the scale, even though I would like it to have a higher weight capacity than 11 pounds. But that's hard to find in a scale with all the other features I want. It otherwise is the perfect scale for my large batch breadbaking.

This is THE best scale in the world in my book. I have used this scale for over a year now. Still as good and reliable as day one. If I was given a $500 scale as a gift, I would still use this one. The batteries! Options! Options! Options! I wish other electronics combined a built in battery, PLUS extra batteries, PLUS running off a plug. Why don't other companies take advantage of this? Its so cool. This thing ALWAYS turns on. Always! The built in weight is something most scales dont have but this does. It stowes away nicely and never gets lost. It has a large platform and there are SO MANY measuring units! I liked this scale so much, I had an unlimited budget to get my sister a scale, and I chose this one for her. This scale is a true gem. I have used it for small measurements, big measurements. Medical purposes, for mail, for gems. And even used it for weighing industrial parts and large items. You could use this to measure salt, or something as big as a small to medium size briefcase (under 5kg). From what I can tell accuracy has always been on point. Its amazing the scale range. Honestly, I buy alot of stuff, and this is the hallmark of value. A true hidden gem in internet land. Every once in awhile, you can find a grandslam on Amazon or chinese branded products. This is a Grandslam. I cannot recommend enough. This should be standard issue for every American household. Neither of the 2 units have ever given me problems. As mentioned before, the one I bought has been kicked around and used for over a year. Still going strong. I have never once turned it on and have it not turn on. It always has power. No issues. None. I cannot think of a single negative. This scale is a 15 out of 10. This is... The BEST scale. Period.

Works well, I use it almost every day. The one downside is that the display goes dark and you lose your measurement after too short a time.

Defective upon receipt. The battery connector plate broke off while installing the batteries. I loved the hold function, percentage calculator and adjustable off setting that it advertised, but never got to use it. Having to return this one and will update based on replacement. UPDATE: SO I received a perfect unit and LOVE this scale! It is a great scale especially for making sourdough as it has a percentage button that calculates percentage weights according to the weight of the flour. The scale has multiple ways to charge including a rechargeable battery, using disposable batteries or plugging directly in, and I wanted to make sure that I had the ability to use all those options because we do not always want to have to plug in our scale, right? It has fantastic features for the home baker that beat out pricier brands. I really like the hold function for oversized items so it will hold the weight after you take it off so you can see the weight after the item is removed. You can also change the display time off to make sure it doesn't go off in the middle of your weighing. It has all the weighing weight units that I need and some that I'm sure I'll never use lol. I am so glad I got a good unit and now I am a happy sourdough baker! Hope it gives me many years of happy baking.

This is the 2nd kitchen scale I’ve owned. My previous one is still functioning and is accurate, but it is small and doesn’t accommodate large bowls very well. This scale has a nice large surface and even with my largest mixing bowl on it I can still see the display clearly, which was the problem with my previous scale. It’s also steady, so when pressing the buttons it won’t wobble and tip(also another problem with my previous scale). I like that I can recalibrate this scale, which I feel is important to make sure it stays accurate. I placed the included weight on both of my scales and they both had the same reading, so it seems pretty accurate. I’m trying to start cooking and baking by weight, which will be a big shift since I’ve always baked by volume my entire life, and there’s probably going to be times when I will just measure things out like usual because it’s so familiar. Cooking by weight isn’t so familiar yet but in time it will be, and there’s some recipes where the amount of flour matters, so by weight is more accurate than by volume. Overall this scale is easy to store and looks very nice and has several different units of measurement. I like that it’s rechargeable, but it also accommodates regular AAA batteries (perhaps for when the rechargeable battery reaches end of life?) and it can also be plugged in, which is least likely way I would use it. But at least there’s several power options. So far the rechargeable battery seems to have long life. I’ve used it a few times since I got it almost 5 months ago and haven’t had to charge it yet, so that means it’ll be ready for use whenever I need it. The digital display is also nice and clear with large numbers for easy reading. I can’t say anything bad about this scale. It’s a great price and more useful and practical than my previous one.

Overall, the device seems okay, but not great. The scale shows as accurate when testing with the 100 gram weight it came with, but is off by a gram when testing with my 1 kg or 2 grams with my 2 kg weights. Within its margin of accuracy, but still off. My bigger complaint is that all the volume options in the units of measurements are either useless/redundant or inaccurate. First of all, the units for fl oz and ml will always read EXACTLY the same as oz and grams respectively. These are useless on almost any scale because different fluids have different densities and will weigh the differently. So if the scale doesn't have settings for a specific material, it can't accurately weigh by volume. In the case of most scales, they are calibrated to assume that the material being measured is water, which has a density of 1ml/gram or 1 fl oz/oz, thus why the readings are exactly the same as stated previously. The bigger disappointment is the "milk ml" measurement. Again, accuracy is going to depend on the density of the material being weighted and there are multiple different types of milk, all of which are different densities due to their different thicknesses. I use whole milk. I use 1/2 cup every morning with my cereal or oatmeal. 1/2 cup converts to around 118 ml. However, when I measured the volume then poured it into my oatmeal on the scale, it came to around 96 ml.

Excellent item. Received today and tested all functions - works fine! The downside is the price: I've paid SGD70 here, but if order from TaoBao - it is SGD15... Anyway made in China, will think twice next time I need any appliance. Also batteries are not included, no problem. Manual is very basic, but at least in English.

I am very impressed with this kitchen scale. The precision is excellent and the 0.1 g accuracy makes a huge difference for baking, especially when working with doughs and recipes that need very exact measurements. It feels reliable and responds quickly without any of the jumping numbers you get on cheaper scales. The stainless steel pan is a nice size and easy to keep clean. The full view LCD is bright and clear from every angle which is helpful when the counter is crowded. I also like that it is USB rechargeable which saves faffing around with batteries. The percentage function is surprisingly useful. It makes scaling dough formulas far easier and has already helped me get much more consistent results with bread. A very good scale for anyone who bakes regularly. Well made, accurate and a pleasure to use. I am really pleased with it.

Bilancia perfettamente funzionante, di grande dimensioni, non avevo compreso che veramente ha delle belle dimensioni per essere una bilancia da cucina tanto è vero vuolevo fare il reso, per pesare solo la pasta non è il massimo ma poi quando ho letto e provato la funzione % acqua per fare impasto pane pizza ho deciao di tenerla e ho fatto bene, utilissima per gli impasti super precisa,con il suo piombo si puo ricalibrare ha anche la ricarica usb e la struttura è molto solida rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto tempi di consegna precisi

Cette balance est parfaite en cuisine: Elle possède toutes les fonctions utiles, bonne surface de plateau, l"écran reste visible même avec une assiette dessus, un poids étalon de 100gr fourni permet de vérifier le calibrage. La balance est arrivée déjà calibrée. Rechargeable, je n'utilise pas les piles AAA fournies. Je suis très satisfait.
