good price, easy install
I bought one for my car, and after seeing how well it worked, I installed another in my daughter's car. It came in handy, as she's a new driver and had an accident - we could see exactly what happened. The install is fairly straightforward, and there is a handy trim tool to use to tuck the wires away from sight. The first install took me 30 minutes, but the second install was only 15 minutes - easy peasy. The camera quality is also quite good. The app is a little weird at first, but once you use it a few times, it works well enough. It uses a weak quasi wifi signal for when you want to download videos, which can take awhile. This is totally worth the purchase and can give good peace of mind in the event an accident occurs, especially if it's not your fault.

Two Years, still going strong! Great dashcam.
I’ve had this dashcam for about 2 years. It was a little complicated setting it up at first and this was due to the wiring. I didn’t want it to be too crazy in my car so it took awhile. I also ordered extra clips to stick the wires to my car for neatness. The video quality is very good, I love that it has a front and back camera, I love that when you go over a bump (or anything that shakes the car) it automatically locks the video and saves those to a different file. The download speed can take about up to a minute, and you can’t be connected to CarPlay while connected to the camera, but that is easy to do. The camera also does really good at night. It’s been two years and the dashcam is still holding strong, it is very durable. It’s gone on roadtrips with me across the country and has not failed me yet. I have included a video montage of some moments I’ve captured on video with this dashcam. The negative reviews seem to stem from people not understanding how to use the dashcam. Make sure you throughly read the instruction manual in order to use the camera correctly with no problems. Also, the app itself is good. I enjoy being able to go into the cameras settings via the app to turn on or turn off any features I want/don’t want. You can also adjust the audio sound (it’ll say video locked), along with the sensitivity of it reading as an accident (which I have my sensitivity pretty high so it captures bumps a lot but I am fine with that because when I beep it will also lock the video and save it to emergency files). It also withstands the Midwest weather conditions (hot sunny summers, freezing cold winters). The price on this dual dashcam was also a great selling point for me as well. I also like that it saves all the files I download to my phone to a seperate album called JarvisCam (dashcam app name) so I can easily access my downloaded files. I feel safe having this because I know I’m an efficient driver, and if someone else does something I am able to prove it. Or even me. I highly recommend everyone purchases a dashcam, and this dual dashcam works amazing. You definitely cannot beat the price for the features it offers, along with the fact it captures back video too!

Love it!
I am rating this like this for a few reasons: 1) I wish the app had a bit more settings for the camera, 2) the quality of the camera itself is really good. I don’t have any major issues with it that would make me upset or leaving me feeling any other way. I do love that the night vision on this cam is really good for the price that it is at. It is really easy to install and I love that I do however did find it easier to have another person help with setting up the rear cam for placement, tucking the cord out of sight and other small things, I do also love that this is a wide angle the downside of it is that it doesn’t read plates clearly while driving or while parked.

Good product, but even better customer support.
If you don't need a cabin recording and don't need to see what is actually being recorded, these are great dash cams. I bought five of them. They are not difficult to install and they work. The picture is good. One of the cams started giving me an error message a few months after I bought it, and I reached out to their customer support on WhatsApp and they responded and after a few days of trouble-shooting, they concluded that the camera was bad and so they sent me a new camera. This is despite the camera being outside of the return window here on amazon. Not only is this a decent little camera for the price, but the support is superb. Thanks to Emma in customer support for her dedication to solving this issue, and ultimately sending me a new device. Would absolutely buy another one of these.

Great value
The GKU Dash Cam is surprisingly capable and solidly built with an easy-to-use interface. Pro tip: tighten the forward camera with the included Allen wrench. Great little dash cam!

Great except won't keep date/time and wiggles loose
I bought several of these to put one in each of my cars. I hard wired each one. It's been a good 6+ months now so I think this enough time for a proper review. The camera quality is great - I can't knock that. It's appropriately crisp/clear on all of the cameras front and back in daytime and at night. When you can get these on a deal and not "full price" it's a good value. Unfortunately, the set screw that is supposed to keep the angle/tilt of the camera worked loose on ALL of my cameras, especially in warm sunny environments. I re-tightened them multiple times and they all loosened again like clockwork. I suspect many people, unless they check consistently, are driving around with these cameras not realizing the screw loosened and they've been recording their hoods or the sky for who knows how long. I eventually took my plastic welder and melted a hot staple into the screw area of each one thus locking it in place on each car which is an easy enough fix. Most unfortunately, and an annoying issue I can't overcome with a minor DIY fix, is that one camera will just NOT keep proper date/time on the video clips. For some reason, it sorts literally every single clip with the date of 1/1/2023 which makes it almost impossible to find the clip you're looking for. You'd think you could just scroll to the "front" or the "back" of the clips and assume your newest file would be either the first or the last clip, but no that still doesn't work. They're all dated 1/1/23 and a clip from last week could be at the "front" or the "back" of the thumbnail gallery, whereas something recorded just 5 minutes ago could be in the middle. I can't overstate how maddening this is because you have to manually click into about 50 different clips (which is fairly slow and clunky) and just hope to eventually find the one you're looking for. It consistently records, but good luck finding it. I reset the device totally numerous times. I tried high quality Samsung SD cards in it, etc. No matter what the one camera just consistently labels all the clips as 1/1/23 and lumps them all together in no particular order. It's a shame because other than that one infuriating issue, these really are good value and high quality cameras. I just feel that one out of a small handful I own having this issue is too high of a problematic rate to rate it higher.

It works ok but the wifi thing is annoying
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The video review someone posted of this product for the entire use and install was incredibly helpful. It seems to work like it should. Installation was incredibly easy. The picture quality is good. However, something I did not realize is that in order to use the app, you need to connect to the camera's wifi constantly, unlike other wireless devices that only require it for setup. This is a big problem, because my vehicle also requires constant wifi connection to use the maps and other features, so the connections just sit there and fight each other. Fortunately the camera does have a microSD, so I can just leave it to do it's thing, but the app is basically useless to me the majority of the time because it will sit there and connect and disconnect as my car keeps fighting for priority.
