We have been using it almost daily for about two months. Compared to our old Breville it cooks far more quickly, probably due to its higher power. It has thick metal slabs under the plates which store a lot of heat and help to cook evenly. It is about the right size for a single large panani using the ridged plates. Provided you buter the outside of the bread, it will deliver lovely crisp toasted sandwiches that are properly heated through so that cheese is melted to perfection. The removable plates allow for easy cleaning; the non-stick properties are best preserved by wiping them with a damp cloth, rather than soaking in soap and water.
