T6 Air Remote Control

Just get it now... You will not regret. Ever since I bought their very first Favormate air mouse remote control, I NEVER EVER bought any wireless remote control from anyone but FAVORMATE AIR MOUSE REMOTE CONTROL. In fact, I love it so much. I bought two one as a back just in case the one I am using breaks down, but it hasn't ... It works great. If you missed my previous AWESOME review for this remote, here it is again down below... :) OMG!!! Where has this AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!! remote control been all of my life? Did I say AWESOME!!!! I will tell you why this Remote Control is Awesome, besides being very well designed and easy to hold and handle. Pro: 1.) I was under the impression that there were different remotes one for mini-keyboard and the actual remote control, but NOOOO... It is all in ONE; remote control is on one side and the mini-keyboard is in the bottom... How cool is that... Awesome!!! 2.) There is a reason why it is called AIR REMOTE CONTROL... With this remote control you can control the mouse pointer by just waving or moving the remote control no need to click on a up and down button. In fact, there is no button on the remote itself to control the mouse pointer. Awesome!!!! 3.) And get this... Say you want to FREEZE your mouse pointer on the screen. All you have to do is simply click on a BUTTON on the remote to freeze the pointer. BAM!!! the pointer stays put while you wave or move your whole remote. Awesome!!! 4.) All of you are going to love the NEXT FEATURE so much that you are going to order one of this remote just for this reason. Remember back in the day whenever we want to program our universal remote, they always gave us a HUGE list of number combinations to enter to work with our TV or any electronic devices. Well, with this AIR Remote Control you can program its UNASSIGNED buttons DIRECTLY no need for NUMBERS. Yes, All you do is simply take your original remote control say your TV remote and place it directly in front of the AIR REMOTE CONTROL. Then, you put the AIR REMOTE CONTROL in program mode and Click a button on your TV remote. Finally, click one of the UNASSIGNED button on the AIR REMOTE CONTROL. DONE!!! I already have my TV ON/OFF, VOLUME UP AND DOWN and MUTE programmed into the AIR REMOTE CONTROL... No need for TV remote ANYMORE... AWESOME!!! 5.) Best of all... this AIR REMOTE CONTROL has BACKLIGHT!!! All of its button LIGHT UP like Christmas TREE. Not only that; the Backlight is ONLY ON on the side you are using. If you flip your AIR REMOTE CONTROL to use the mini-keyboard in the back or in the bottom, backlight switches to that side... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6.) Say you are watching Youtube video or any video on the INTERNET. You can actually skip backward or forward or simply pause it like you would with your DVR!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is that.... SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! 7.) You want to shutdown your computer. Just simply click the BIG RED BUTTON on the TOP. It will take you right to the screen where it asks you if you want to restart or shutdown. No need to click on a START or Menu button no more... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8.) No more Virtual Keyboard for me and the hassle of moving the mouse pointer up and down to click its buttons. Just make sure your cursor is in the box blinking and flip your AIR REMOTE CONTROL and TYPE AWAY to your HEARTS CONTENT.... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9.) No more having to CLICK on the BROWSER SHORTCUT to open my WEB BROWSER... Just simply click the BROWSER button and your web browser OPENS... AWESOME!!!!! By the way, I am using this AIR REMOTE CONTROL with a LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM on my home theater PC running Ubuntu. Thank you THANK YOU So much for this AWESOME AIR REMOTE CONTROL and PRODUCT Favormates... Now, because of this remote I won't miss DIRECTV DVR (LOL).... I Sincerely recommend this remote control to everyone.

What a great little remote control/mouse wand/keyboard for my home theater PC! I ordered this because it is backlit and also has a touchpad to the right of the mini keyboard. I am very satisfied with the battery life, range, and general ease of use of this product. See the video I attached to this review. I only have a couple of minor quips: First, I wish this company provided a driver or utility for windows that would allow you to customize some of the buttons (like assign a specific button to a specific task or macro). That would be pretty simple to do, actually. I'm surprised they didn't think of that (but hopefully might in the future). Second, the keyboard lacks the function keys of a regular PC keyboard (Think F1, F2, Win Key, etc...). This requires you to keep a standard PC keyboard about. However, if you set up the windows 10 start menu the correct way, and get creative with it, you can use the mouse pointer for just about anything (see video). Again, it would be nice to have the ability to have a driver or an app for windows that will allow you to reassign some of these keys. Then it will be the perfect device! Third, and finally, the remote goes to sleep a little too quickly. I wish it would wait at least 30 seconds before going to sleep. As of now, it goes to sleep in five seconds! That requires you to tap the illumination key to wake the remote constantly. One final note. This remote comes with a dongle which plugs into a USB port on the PC. It's the transceiver for the remote. If you boot the PC up or restart it, be certain the power to the remote is turned on otherwise Windows will not recognize the device. (By turned on, I mean the power switch on the left side of the remote is set to on. It is not necessary to keep the remote "awake" by waving it about, or pressing buttons when you reboot. Just have the power switch turned on) You can fix that by keeping the remote turned on during the reboot or, if Windows returns the error, unplug the USB dongle and plug it back in. Then it will work just fine. Other than that, I am highly satisfied with this little, yet versatile device! I still keep a regular keyboard about in the closet, should I need to do anything advanced on the media server in windows - which isn't very often. The backlight on the remote makes it perfect for a home theater, set up where the room is typically dark. That way, you don't need to keep a memory of where each button is, and what each button does. Just light up the remote! ;-)
