Works
My jack Russell terrier took a little training on "what to do" but the second time I took it out, he had it down.Have to work with your dog, but once they get it, it works quickly to sand down nails. Won't get the duclaw though.

Perfect for corgis!
Just as you see in the picture this item is corgi approved! My two love it and it helps between nail trimmings

fell apart after one use
I got this for my 75 lb. boxer mix. After one use, the support stand came apart. It was only glued. We will be fixing it with screws for more support. The treat door should face the opposite direction so that the dogs can open it themselves. He did learn to scratch on it quickly, however.

Worth more than 5 stars!
The media could not be loaded. Our dog HATES having her nails clipped. As in it takes two people to wrestle and pin a 30lb dog to clip one nail. Yes, we need to work on that. But wait. There really is an easier way!I got this board on an impulse. Watched a few YouTube videos on training how to use it. The video clip above is her 2nd session. She got the concept and now will paw and scratch on command. Her claws are much shorter and won't draw blood nearly so easily.

Great concept but there is a design flaw
We have a dog who hates getting his nails trimmed. I like the idea of the scratch board to help him do his nails himself. I really liked the idea of having a treat reward built in BUT that is where this board is flawed. There is no way to have your dog push the door open and not have it slide right back down ultimately scaring the dog. The door should go down not up. If you have the board laying flat, the door won't open because it hits the support that you use to angle it. I'm disappointed that the treat mechanism isn't usable because our dog is VERY food motivated. Knocked off two stars for the bad design.
