I'm blown away with how well built this is and how well it works. I am so used to getting absolute junk off of Amazon lately with all these no-name brands. I had heard of SainSmart before because I used some of their pre-made 8 channel relay boards for a Christmas light project and they worked well. I was not expecting to get something that is all-metal, sturdy, bright, and does an excellent job of sucking up smoke. Even the magnet on this thing is crazy strong, I accidentally stuck it to something metal on my desk and had to use 2 hands to slowly pull it off. All in all this is one of those products that really is worth every penny. Note that even though it has excellent airflow, there are physical limitations on how far the suction can "reach". You will need to move the fan as close to the soldering as you can for it to work best.

Bright light and quiet fan. Easy to use and high quality. It’s a good value for the price and I love how it can be moved from spot to spot. It works well to remove the fumes from the glue I use to craft with.

I use this for doing my nails lol because the light is excellent and it has a fume extractor. I can clamp it anywhere - table or my bed frame so I can do nails in comfort. Now the room doesn’t smell like nail polish. And because it extracts fumes vs blowing air like a fan, absolutely no air bubbles appear on my manicure!

One of the best fans for the price. really great that it has a light also. you can change the lighting color and dim. Very sturdy magnet base or also comes with screw clamp type bracket

The item is great but the replacement filters are too pricey for how long they last.

Small but powerful. I use when I’m making jewelry or literally for anything else.

If you need a real extractor do not buy this toy

Works very well aslo great that it double as a light as well. The shift could be a little long though.

Does the job, however the light got so hot, you couldn’t touch it and it melted the plastic. Do not recommend

The fume extractor works great for stained glass soldering. The light is helpful during the grinding process. My only complaints are: even on the highest setting the light could be brighter. The clamp seems to loosen over time. I’m not sure if that’s because of the quality of the product or because the table edges are slightly curved. I bought this when there was a $10 coupon available. I don’t know if this product is worth the full price.

Very good fan, not too loud and has good sucking power. The light is a nice addition, it has 3 warmth settings and can go very bright but also quite dim. The desk clamp and magnetic holder do there job well, the addition of a few extra filters is nice too. Bit on the pricey side, but I would say its worth it if you plan to use it often.
