The fluval bug bites for shrimp are an example of good food for your fish. The first ingredient is black soldier fly larvae followed by salmon so this is a protein and omega fatty acid focused meal which is excellent for fish health and color. There is no "fish meal" in the ingredients so you are getting whole ingredients here, not a cheap allgamation of fish like you see in some big box brands. The shaker design is interesting, it has a small opening at the cap and you shake out how much you want. Both fish and shrimp love it, you can see how it falls in the video, it is relatively slow falling but it does not float so perfect for shrimp. I highly recommend this product.

My cherry shrimp eat this up and love it. I give this stuff to my shrimp every once and awhile even though they have plenty of natural biofilm, algae, fish food and fish poop to eat. Seems to be good quality because I have to hide it from my guppies so those pigs don't eat it all up. I will use a long straw to strategically place it in little nooks that only the shrimp will really go, and within minutes they are all over it pigging out. Size of it is pretty good, smaller guppies cant seem to gulp it up as its a bit too large, so that helps leave some for the shrimp but they will still nibble it till its gone. The pieces are about the size of a larger coarse grain of sand. Good price, hopefully good nutrition also... *** EDIT, turns out my Ramshorn snails love to munch on this stuff also, because if it lands near them, they are on it in no time.

Good stuff. There's plenty of it, and I like that it's little granules so each shrimp can get their own piece.

I recently purchased these and I put a few in the tank. My larger fish can eat them, but my fry are not large enough yet. They fall to the bottom but they hold their shape. It’s a big improvement over the flake bug bites. Definitely would buy again.
