Truck Bed Cargo Light Lamp Switch Connector
I’ve got a 2024 Ford Maverick and plan to put a tonneau cover on it. The XLT comes with a light in the bed corner with a momentary switch, but I wanted a strip light for placement below the rails that would turn on when the tail gate is opened, but has an On/Off switch as well. I saw how this was done on a Maverick Forum and it doesn’t look too hard to do. So I ordered this one by GYUPTRK. You will have to find a switch of course and then tie into existing 12v lines. Pretty sure with 12v it doesn’t matter which side you connect. There is no specified HOT and LOAD lines, like in house wiring, so installation should be simple and fairly quick. You will want to solder and electrician tape or use a heat shrink for all your connections. This will be a fun project and I’m glad I found this lamp switch connector.

Nice Product
I added LED strip lights to my truck bed and two LED lights to side of bed. Switch works perfectly! Solid push for on/off (let's you know you are making the connection). Would recommend.

Never recieved my return
Did not function - had to return but seller said it never arrived so now I have no switch and out the money as well.

All I can really say is that it works. I wrapped my harness or connector in electrical and friction tape after replacing the old connector however compared to my OEM connector this one is a weak connector. "Premium Plastic" would not be a proper description. Better than me spending $60 for one of these from ford. The ones from ford are a thicker cable and more sturdy plastic end.
