Guided Science Readers: Level A: 16 Fun Nonfiction Books That Are Just Right for New Readers

These are absolutely perfect for teaching little ones to read. I like them FAR better than any of the other leveled readers because they help kids learn by seeing particular words repeated in the same book, which gives the little readers confidence and tunes them into the phonics in a simple, targeted way. New readers will be able to learn sight words and read the books back to you in a simple sitting as they will learn from the cues of the repeated patterns as well as from the pictures. It's Scholastic. So, good stuff!

Cannot recommend highlights sets enough. They are fantastic. Love everything about the science sets. Reading and learning. Plus thanks for making a set for kids that are into science and how things work!

きれいな写真と短い文との構成が想像以上に明快で、説明など余計はなくて、 はじめてのサイエンスブックだったので身構えていたのが笑えるほど分かりやすく これは良いセットでした。なかなか本物にはお目にかかれない生き物たち・・・でも 2才の子はどれも読んだ翌日には生き物たちの単語が飛び出していました。 印象に強く残るような視覚効果もあったのでしょう。
