Held down the shade structure framing.
I used these to hold a garden shade structure in place. I used the gaming from an old cheap tarp-style 'garage' kit to build a shade frame over the garden. These anchors worked well to hold the completed structure down.I ran the anchors part way in with a 3/8 battery impact, then used a 1/2" hand rachet to complete the job.6 anchors held down a 20'x10' structure in 50+ mph winds. These anchors work just fine.

Went in pretty easily.
Need to have a pretty beefy drill if that's how your going to put these in. I got it about half way in and finished with a ratchet. They seem to be pretty secure. I guess we'll know when we get strong winds.

Okay anchors
I used these to anchor a portable storage building. The auger could use another helix to make installation easier

Easy to use
Super easy to use! I used this on the beach and used my impact drill to anchor em down. They went in super easy and were definitely worth the money.

Works but would be better harder to install than other anchors
I ordered these anchors to stablilize my new loquat fruit tree after planting as it just started to lean on one side. Although once installed, it's pretty sturdy and provides enough anchor point, installing it was a bit more complicated that other similiar anchors I've installed in the past. For one, the slot on top is larger so it won't fit my hammer drill so I had to install it the old fashion way, by using a long screwdriver inserted into the ring and turning it by hand... this is where it became a bit more difficult to install. Since it's only got one spiral, it doesn't dig into the dirt as well and you'll be fighting with keeping it straightened as you're pushing down on it and turning at the same time. If it had multiple spirals, that would aid in eating into the dirt and keeping it upright as you push down. It did work eventually and once it was in, it's working as intended but not without effort and elbow grease.

They work perfectly!
We have some pretty strong winds during the winter occasionally. This is able to hold down our 10×12 gazebo about 400 lbs. Last year we woke up to our gazebo upside down in our yard whixh is why we needed to come up with a solution to avoid that again. This is a good peace of mind to know that these are long enough in the ground and will hold it in place.
