Great, strong! Keeps snow/ rain out

First of all, this was one of the most well-packaged items I have ever bought and it came with instructions and info about the company in case of any issues. It was easy to put together and it literally took me longer to get it positioned in the window than to put it together. I kept moving it up further and further on the glass until it seems to be in the best spot for the birds to use. It’s a bit tricky at my window since the birds are generally coming to the feeder from the cable line that’s attached to the side of my house, so they need to kind of swoop down to get under the feeder roof. They seem to be slowly figuring it out though. And to be fair, I have made several changes at that window just this week which may make them wary. I started out with a platform shelf-type feeder but got tired of the mourning doves who would just camp out on the tray, eat their fill, nap a while, then eat some more, running all the other birds off. I had a different type of smaller acrylic feeder that only the finches seemed to like so I ordered this one and have seen a wren, cardinals and finches so far. I can’t imagine that the chickadees won’t like it but haven’t seen one yet. It seems very stable and I like that the tray is removable. I expect it to last.

I bought this birdfeeder after seeing something similar on a neighbor's window! I love the clear look and design. It was easy to assemble (very minimal assembly needed) and install. The feeder comes with two extra "sticky circles" to add to installation if you need more stability, but I haven't needed to use the extras. The suction cups have been holding the feeder in place for a few months now. It took about 2 weeks for the birds to start to come to the feeder, but they are coming regularly now. I mostly get finches at my feeder due to the bird seed blend that I use. The only design "flaw" is that the seeds from the feeder tray can get around and underneath the tray as the birds are eating---so each time I refill the seed, I remove the tray and push the extra seeds that have fallen under and around it back into the tray. I installed my feeder on my guest bedroom window (see video and photo). This is a great item and I highly recommend it! It has sparked my interest in bird watching and I am planning to add a bird bath and some other items into this same area too!

Clear view, holds a lot and easy refill

Our old Ermete window bird feeder recently fell and shattered, so we had to buy a new one. Our old one lasted for years and had a separate seed tray that slid out. We wanted to buy the same Ermete window bird feeder, but that model no longer existed. We got one that was similar in size ("style 1", 13 inches) to the old one, but didn't know that the seed tray is not separate and does NOT slide out. The whole feeder has to be slid off every time, putting stress on the three suction cups (or sticky hooks) every time seed needs to be changed/filled. We chose to go with the sticky hooks instead of the suction cups, but were shorted a hook. We put the only two sticky hooks on the ends and put one of the suction cups in the middle to attach. Instructions were limited to a handful of drawings and some sentence fragments, which further fueled my frustration. Sturdy construction is the best I can say about the Ermete feeder that I was so let down by.

This birdfeeder is very well designed the suction cups are the best I’ve ever seen with a threaded metal stud bonded into the plastic. The birdfeeder came very quickly unfortunately it had a crack in the housing, so I initiated a return to the vendor. The replacement came the following day before I even had a chance to return the damaged one. The second unit is in perfect condition. It’s very beautifully made. I have not installed it outdoors yet, but I will give a review once I do.
