Hair Darkening Shampoo Bar, Shouwu Blackening Shampoo Soap for Gray Hair, All nature Organic (2 Pack Polygonum Multiflorum for Grey Hair)

I love this shampoo! It leaves my hair squeaky clean and just a couple of swipes over your hair creates a silky lather that leaves my hair soft and smelling good. I've always disliked the greasy feeling some shampoos leave behind, but this bar shampoo is amazing. I've got dark brown hair with a lot of gray. This shampoo doesn't darken the grays to my dark brown natural color, but it takes its brightness out and slowly turns my gray hair to a light brown that looks like highlights. I've been using it for 2 years.

At first I thought the smell was a little strong. However, after I used it, it smells great. It must've been because it was in its packaging for a while during shipping. Anyhow, leaves my hair silky and shiny even without using conditioner.

I researched the product discovered that to darken hair you wash rinse then wash again a leave it massaged into scalp for 3-5 mins. If you want it to darken it will take at least 3 months of use. It lathers fantastic- I have thick long hair and it worked great- I will add to review after 3 months. My scalp does not itch or feel dry- hair feels healthy after one time of using it. The smell dissipates quickly from hair. ( I was not fond of the smell) one thing it was supposed to be two but only one bar came. 3 months and no real change in color. Shampoo lather well but I have developed an itchy scalp smell once I have several allergies I have decided to discontinue using it.

Works great for daily washing of hair

I bought this for darkening my gray hair. In 4 uses, my hair is literally breaking off like I have never experienced before. My hair is fine and also prone to breakage. I have been using natural bar shampoo for over a year now and have seen my breakage stop and hair become fuller and grow longer. In just 4 uses of this shampoo, I am set back, not only set back, but my hair has not been this damaged in years. I threw it in the trash and wanted to just warn others about...if your hair is fine and prone to breakage, do not use this product for even one wash. I starting see handfuls of hair in the shower drain on the first use. I am so disappointed with the damage done and am sure it will take another year for my hair to fully recover.

The bar of shampoo leaves your hair nice and clean but it does not cover gray. Your gray just turns a nasty gunmetal gray. I won't buy it again.

This bar sudses up well and leaves my hair squeaky clean. It has restored my natural curls and managability. I cannot attest to the fragrance as I lost my sense of smell with my last bout of covid. I have tried a number of bar soaps and this one works the best so far.

I like the idea of this. I love shampoo bars and I was looking for something for my thin and fragile hair and possible hair regrowth, however this one fell short. Doesn’t have a ton of lather or smell and caused some irritation on the back of my neck in the hair line even with thorough rinsing. It did clean well and I could go several days without another wash but I never saw any new growth and still had a lot of fall out. I love that it came in a tin and have reused it with a different shampoo bar that just came in a box (that works better too).
