I was needing it to flare an oil line on my oil furnace. I needed a tool that would get in a tight spot without cutting my oil line and flaring it. Which would require a lot more work for me. This flaring tool was great cause with the other one I needed big channel locks to tighten down the wing nuts on it. With the oil line inside the furnace cabinet I wasn't able to get the channel locks in there to tighten it down so the tool wouldn't slip then I wouldn't be able to flare it. This flaring tool flared the line perfect and had no issues with the oil line leaking. I would definitely recommend it! Review: This is the right tool for the job!
